Upon entering the penthouse the light and dark contrast continues. The exposed ceiling structure is stained to mimic the 1st floor's "tarred" ceiling. The reclaimed fir plank floor is painted a light vanilla cream. And, the hand plastered concrete fireplace is the visual anchor that all the rooms radiate off of. Kitchen - transitional kitchen idea in Boston

The Plato “mission” style white oak cabinets in a warm Briar color feature soft close/glide drawers. The bath has a warm spa-like feel, thanks to the heated floor featuring Anatolia Tile & Stone tiles. These 12 X 24 inch Porcelain tiles look like bamboo with a noticeably raised yet easy to clean non-slip surface. The same tile was used for the shower walls to provide an anti-slip texture that hands can feel.
