ballonSTUDIO interiors & remodelingOur San Francisco studio designed this beautiful four-story home for a young newlywed couple to create a warm, welcoming haven for entertaining family and friends. In the living spaces, we chose a beautiful neutral palette with light beige and added comfortable furnishings in soft materials. The kitchen is designed to look elegant and functional, and the breakfast nook with beautiful rust-toned chairs adds a pop of fun, breaking the neutrality of the space. In the game room, we added a gorgeous fireplace which creates a stunning focal point, and the elegant furniture provides a classy appeal. On the second floor, we went with elegant, sophisticated decor for the couple's bedroom and a charming, playful vibe in the baby's room. The third floor has a sky lounge and wine bar, where hospitality-grade, stylish furniture provides the perfect ambiance to host a fun party night with friends. In the basement, we designed a stunning wine cellar with glass walls and concealed lights which create a beautiful aura in the space. The outdoor garden got a putting green making it a fun space to share with friends.

Innovate Design CollectiveDriving down to this small house on the water, we immediately saw the potential of what it could become. With access to the beach and a boathouse at the sea level, this large property had a lot to offer. The re-design for this meant expanding on what was already here by stepping up the square footage, increasing the level of finish and capitalizing on the fantastic views.
Our development of the house included increasing the footprint by adding a complete and well-appointed main-level Primary bedroom suite, an office, mud room, laundry and powder room. Downstairs we renovated the space into a gym and media room with views, 3 new bedrooms. To round out the house we added a three-car garage with a car-lift in the third bay.
Old Country Ceramic TileNaturaHDP from Florida tile. Originally from the Italian word natura, which means “natural”, Florida Tile’s Natura is exactly that. A modern interpretation of one of the most natural building blocks of civilization, wood. Organic in its wood grain, but thoroughly contemporary in its colorful design palate, Natura is the perfect marriage. This evolution of a wood has brought a true commercial vehicle that will perform technically and aesthetically in any environment.
Available in 7 distinct colors, the NaturaHDP is created in a 6x24 plank with a slightly distressed wood grain surface. The graphic and texture are based on a traditional Oak plank, but the style has been refined to meet the demand of current interior design needs. Complimented by a 24” bullnose, the line boasts a color body with 40% recycled content and third party certification. The surface is compliant with the new ANSI DCOF Acutest requirements for surfaces (commercial or residential) expected to be walked upon when wet and the product has been tested for indoor air quality and water absorption.

Ashton RenovationsThis basement renovation was our third project for Sherry and Steve, having completed their kitchen and two bathrooms previously. Their home is located in Richview - Etobicoke Toronto. The area dates back to 1852 when a post office called "Richview" opened in this area. In the 1870's, it had its own school, church, and tavern. Richview had a proud farming tradition. In 1956, Richview's last dairy farm was sold to developers.
The focus of the space was to clean it up and add insulation, as it was previously poorly done. To achieve this the basement was spray foamed and included insulated floor panels and a cork floor. The entertainment unit was custom built using IKEA cabinetry. Proper lighting was also included into the scope of work.

Tom Bassett-Dilley Architect, Ltd.This is a “right-sized” new home, designed by TBDA in Oak Park, IL. While its space planning and technology are entirely 21st-century, its form echoes the scale and detailing of its bungalow and foursquare neighbors. Indoor-outdoor experience is optimized with a front screened porch, complete with a wood-burning fireplace. This house is LEED for Homes Platinum certified, and pre-certified through the Passive House Institute US PHIUS+2015 program. In addition to the efficiency, durability, and inherent air quality that result from Passive House design and building methods, we have strictly controlled adhesives, caulks, sealants, and paints to minimize VOCs, and have used no-added-formaldehyde cabinetry and insulation. We engage a third party air quality testing agency at the end of construction to provide a report on air quality. The house that was on this lot was deconstructed and some pieces of it were used in this house—a transom window, an old door, and a lot of framing lumber.
