Our technician tightened the electrical connections, rinsed the outdoor coil, replaced the air filter, and remounted the secondary drain pan. The system is operating and cooling well. Two items were documented for the record. The system has no electrical protection installed, and the compressor is drawing more current than expected for its age. Neither is causing a problem today, but both are the kind of thing worth watching on a system still in its early years. Our technician outlined the options to address it and left the decision with the homeowner. Plan members get a second set of eyes on the system twice a year, so items like these get tracked rather than forgotten.
