On the shore of Lake Ontario, adjacent to a large wetland, this residence merges ecological design and logical planning with a contemporary style that takes cues from the local agrarian architecture. Four interconnected buildings evocative of an evolved farmhouse separate public and private activities, while also creating a series of external courtyards. The materials, organization of structures and framed views from the residence are experienced as a series of juxtapositions: tradition and innovation, building and landscape, shelter and exposure. This was a complete custom kitchen remodel where we opened up the space to more than double its original size. I utilized my space planning talent to open up the area and provide a kitchen that works for not only preparing meals, but a great space for the children to do homework and other activities.

Having the valves for "his" high shower head (not seen here) and her lower shower set to the right allows for the adjustment of temperature to be adjusted without having to be in the stream of the shower. The valve under the shower head allows for either or both the shower head and the hand shower to be active if you choose to relax on the bench and soak!

This traditional bi-color painted kitchen was a remodel project we did in historic Glendale, OH. The original kitchen area was dark, out-dated, had soffits at the ceiling and was subdivided with a knee wall which really chopped up the room. We opened the space up with a larger window, removed the soffits, added a lot more lighting, and added a nice of touch of creativity to the white perimeter with a touch of color in the island and matching hood. The homeowners empty nester lifestyle included entertaining friends and family, hosting local neighborhood planning meetings, and enjoying quiet mornings together before heading out to their daily activities. The wife wanted a way to bring a bit of their beautiful backyard into the kitchen, so using the soft bluish green color accomplished that nicely.

Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson created a Kitchen her client would want to come home to. With a nod to the Industrial, Rebecca's goal was to turn the outdated, oak cabinet kitchen, into a hip, modern space reflecting the homeowners LOVE FOR THE LOFT! Paul Anderson from Exquisite Kitchen Design worked closely with the team at Robeson Design on Rebecca’s vision to insure every detail was built to perfection. Custom cabinets of ...... include luxury features such as live edge curly maple shelves above the sink, hand forged steel kick-plates to the floor, touch latch drawers and easy close hinges... just to name a few. To highlight it all, individually lit drawers and cabinets activate upon opening. The marble countertops rest below the used brick veneer as both wrap around to the Home Bar.
