This was an old home in dreadful condition. The current owners purchased with a view to achieving a major transformation from floor to roof. The builder used his creative flair to decide how best to open up the space and convert poorly used rooms to useful areas. Walls were removed and the HVAC transfered to the attic. Every door, and window was replaced and a fabuloius kichen installed in the main open plan living area. The home is now occupied by a young family and the value substantially increased.

This beautiful home located in downtown Denver, in the heart of historic construction and homes has been transformed. The owner is an interior designer and Design First Kitchen and Bath was her "go-to" design professional. Listening to the vision she had and transferring it to a professional floorplan was all she needed to get started. As with many interior design visionaries they need those plans, expert measurements and someone to "bounce" ideas off of. With the three professional companies involved there is no wonder why this kitchen looks so amazing.

It's the details that set Dacor Ovens apart. Like multiple cooking modes for greater precision. Or baffle filters that circulate air so flavors don't transfer. And don't forget the Discovery iQ remote app to access your oven from your smart phone. Now you can be truly connected to your kitchen.

You should have seen the forming that allowed this bench to be poured in concrete. Plastic lumber was used. 4 profiles of the bench were cut from plywood, and the plastic lumber screwed to the plywood. The original idea was to cover this entire bench in red glass tile, but expense was too great. The bench was carefully designed (reclines @ 10%) and it's located close to the fire pit for human comfort reasons. The seat tips towards the rear and is very comfortable. I mocked up the exact forms in my office and transferred the data to the detail drawings, there are weep holes (3/4" sweeps) that eliminate water from collecting at the rear of the bench. Such a fun element. More photos of the entire space coming.
