The clean shape of the reconfigured pool is defined by the black waterline tiles and the grey Pebble Tec Tropical Breeze interior. The slightly elevated 6’ x 7’ spa at the shallow end has a black Pebble Tec interior edged with black tile. When not in use the spa overflows into the pool and looks like a glistening sheet of black glass.

The pool has a premium Pebble Tec ‘Tropical Breeze’ exposed aggregate interior finish. It can withstand the elements, so can be used above the waterline negating the need for waterline tile. This overhead view shows how the deck planking is left uneven in places to whimsically mimic hurried pioneer construction.

Another entertaining highlight is the 6’ x 10’ Gunite spa, also with a Pebble Tec ‘Tropical Breeze’ interior. Its temperature settings and spa jets can be conveniently controlled on the deskside pad, or from inside the home or even remotely by smart phone with the Jandy Control system.

The 16’ x 40’ Gunite pool is the focal point with slate grey flagstone coping and charcoal waterline tile to complement the premium Pebble Tec Tropical Breeze interior. The yard’s elevation slopes away from the house and towards the far end of the yard, so excavated soil was redistributed to ensure a level pool and deck.

The highlight of the backyard is the custom Gunite pool. It features a premium Tropical Breeze Pebble Tec exposed aggregate interior ringed with slate grey flagstone coping.
