Everything HomeIn this gorgeous Carmel residence, the primary objective for the great room was to achieve a more luminous and airy ambiance by eliminating the prevalent brown tones and refinishing the floors to a natural shade.
The kitchen underwent a stunning transformation, featuring white cabinets with stylish navy accents. The overly intricate hood was replaced with a striking two-tone metal hood, complemented by a marble backsplash that created an enchanting focal point. The two islands were redesigned to incorporate a new shape, offering ample seating to accommodate their large family.
In the butler's pantry, floating wood shelves were installed to add visual interest, along with a beverage refrigerator. The kitchen nook was transformed into a cozy booth-like atmosphere, with an upholstered bench set against beautiful wainscoting as a backdrop. An oval table was introduced to add a touch of softness.
To maintain a cohesive design throughout the home, the living room carried the blue and wood accents, incorporating them into the choice of fabrics, tiles, and shelving. The hall bath, foyer, and dining room were all refreshed to create a seamless flow and harmonious transition between each space.

Drury DesignA large two-tiered island is the main work area in this two-cook kitchen. Featuring a waterfall Grothouse custom wood top and a matching quartz waterfall top with a large undermount sink.
The second work area is comprised of the large cooktop and smaller prep sink and double ovens. The raised walnut snack bar top was designed to block the view of the work area from visitors entering the room from the main hallway.

Two Hands InteriorsThe classic elements beautifully compliment the contemporary touches in a new kitchen that fits both the style of the home and the tastes of the homeowner. This home features dark wood floors, wood paneling and a light soothing color scheme. The Dining Room features classic silk De Gournay Wallpaper which further fuses the indoor and outdoor seamlessness of the home. The amazing tile installations permeate the decor with color, texture and pattern. The shaker-style kitchen is refreshed by using black cabinetry, a custom stainless hood and La Cornue Range. We enjoyed adding vintage finds throughout - a farm table for the Kitchen, Bergere chairs in the Entry, and a Victorian Flower mirror in the Powder Room. threshold interiors ensures that your beach retreat is elegant, transitional and most importantly comfortable and relaxing!

Denise Quade DesignThe two sided fireplace is above the bathtub in the bathroom and at the foot of the bed in the bedroom. The wall is tiled on both sides and the archway into the bathroom is tiled also. A traditional looking faucet with a hand sprayer was added. The drop in tub is classic white and the tub deck is tiled.

Mercury Mosaics and TileLarge Moroccan Fish Scales in the color 39 London Fog paired with a white grout establish an exciting contrast to highlight the beautiful lines that this tile shape creates. To extend this gorgeous color palette, the original cabinets were repainted in a two-toned effect using grey for the bottoms and white for the tops.
