Alternate view of the chimney flashing on this intricate 24-gauge steel standing seam installation on a contemporary residence in Killingworth, CT. We specified and installed Englert A1300 roof system in matte black. The decking was prepared with full high-temperature Ice and Water shield underlayment from Grace. Panels were joined with a 1.5" mechanical lock. For this installation, we removed and then replaced dormer and valley-adjacent siding.

Home Renovation - Carpet, Stairs and Railings, LVT We wrapped up a detailed and extensive flooring and carpentry project that spanned multiple stages and materials. Here's a breakdown of what we accomplished: Hardwood Refinishing: * Refinished hardwood on steps, railings, and floors with DuraSeal medium color stain. * Applied three coats of water-based polyurethane with a matte finish, plus an additional coat of BonaTrafficHD finish for extra durability. Carpentry: *Installed a new railing from the basement to the second floor, featuring five posts made from Square Red Oak (3.5" wide) for a sleek and sturdy look. Carpet Installation: *Installed carpet in bedrooms and closets using Monte Carlo II material in the color 6076 Antique Fresco. *Laid down a carpet runner on the stairs for added safety and a touch of elegance. LVT Installation: *Laid luxury vinyl tile (LVT) with rubber underlayment for enhanced comfort and sound absorption. *Used Shaw Endura Plus LVT material in the color Marina 2014 Each stage of the project was executed with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch workmanship. The results are a beautifully finished, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space.

A space that was only used as a pass through now has become a daily destination. Located in pastoral Great Falls, VA, just outside of Washington D.C., this sunroom needed to be a welcoming year round retreat for an active family of four. Inspired by resort lifestyle, the space was reconstructed using the same footprint as before, adding floor to ceiling windows. Air conditioning and underlayment heat under new wood-look porcelain tile were added to ensure the room could be enjoyed no matter what season. Sunbrella fabrics were used on the settee and chairs that will stand up to wet bathing suits and barbeques. This is the correct way to roof an almost flat patio. This customer installed their own patio last year and within months of the install they had leaks. They installed the cover using traditional steep slope shingles with no additional preparations due to the roof being almost flat. We remove the shingles and underlayment and installed a CertainTeed Flintlastic 2 part roll roofing system as well as re-roofing the house in CertainTeed Landmark Moire Black using the CertainTeed Integrity Roofing System due to wind damage.

Designed with a mix of New England and inspired by our coastal surroundings we wanted to create a relaxing and sumptuous atmosphere, with added luxury of wooden floors, bespoke wainscoting and textured wallpapers. Mixing the dark blue with warm grey hues, we lightened the rooms and used simple voile fabric for a gentle underlay, complimented with a soft almond curtain.

Recent empty-nesters, the clients were ready to pare down and renovate their dated mid-century modern home. Specifically, they wanted to enlarge their cramped (30 square foot) unattractive room for the master shower and toilet. Desiring to live in their home for many more years, the new space utilizes universal design principals such an accessible oversized pocket door, grab bars*, door-less curb-less shower access, and a hand shower. The shower valves are conveniently located at the shower entrance and a handy niche accented with glass tiles, keeps all the needed products at hand. A sleek slot drain keeps the water flowing in the right direction. ** Large format porcelain tile in a grey veined white marble design keeps the look light and airy and continues the new design aesthetic of the home. *Planning for future additional grab bars, blocking is provided in the wall below the niche. ** To accommodate the flush threshold and for added precaution, waterproofing underlayment was installed for the entire floor surface of the room. Breezeway - Constructed a new breezeway including all underlayment, joist bays adn toungue and groove sub flooring. Constructed a partition wall designed to fire code for both sides, between the breezeway and garage. Installed all trim moldings, doors, outlets, recessed lighting and ceiling fan.

Architectural Asphalt roof replacement on this expansive Killingworth, CT contemporary residence. We stripped this roof down to the sheathing, added Ice and Water underlayment barrier and then installed 5,500 square feet of CertainTeed Landmark Pro architectural asphalt shingles.
