"AFTER" Master bathroom renovation. This bathroom was a major undertaking. Where you see the mirrored doors, it was a single vanity with a sink. It made more sense to have a double vanity on the other side next to the shower but I was missing a medicine cabinet so we decided to add a ROBERN 72" long medicine cabinet in the wall that used to be a small towel closet. The arched entry way was created after moving the wall and removing the door into a dark space where you see the toilet & bidet. The travertine floors are heated (a nice addition at is not expensive to do). Added a 70" free-standing stone tub by Clarke tubs (amazing tub), I love venetian plaster because it's so timeless and very durable. It's not used much these days probably because it's so labor intensive and expensive so I did the plastering myself. We raised up the floor and opted for no shower doors that I've wanted for many, many years after seeing this idea in France. We undertook remodelling of an older property and completely overhauled it to be luxurious and contemporary. The floor plan was redesigned to create a big master bedroom with a walk in closet and a big en suite bathroom. We did away with all airconditioners in the common areas and master bedroom, and converted them to concealed ductable ones. The entire ceiling and lighting plan was redesigned to highlight and accentuate walls and art. Each piece of furniture, all the tv units and joinery, and art are bespoke - designed to synergise and flow seamlessly with the colour and style scheme of the entire house. The entire undertaking was completed from design stages to handing over in 7 months.

These lovely empty nesters, in their mid to late 70s, envisioned a space where they could truly relax and enjoy their time at home, especially when their family and grandkids came to visit. We were so honored to help them bring that vision to life. Understanding Their Needs: From our initial conversations, it was clear how much this couple valued comfort and tranquility. The existing ensuite, unfortunately, fell short of providing either. For the wife, the leaky deck-mount tub was a major disappointment, as she deeply cherished her long, hot baths. The husband, meanwhile, was eager to replace the outdated and cumbersome toilet/bidet combo with a modern, single-piece smart toilet – a desire for both convenience and a touch of modern luxury. The shower stall was cramped, dark, and plagued by mold, while the large double vanity, despite its size, lacked functional storage. It simply wasn't the relaxing oasis they deserved. Creating a bridge between buildings at The Sea Ranch is an unusual undertaking. Though several residential, elevated walkways and a couple of residential bridges do exist, in general, the design elements of The Sea Ranch favor smaller, separate buildings. However, to make all of these buildings work for the owners and their pets, they really needed a bridge. Early on David Moulton AIA consulted The Sea Ranch Design Review Committee on their receptiveness to this project. Many different ideas were discussed with the Design Committee but ultimately, given the strong need for the bridge, they asked that it be designed in a way that expressed the organic nature of the landscape. There was strong opposition to creating a straight, longitudinal structure. Soon it became apparent that a central tower sporting a small viewing deck and screened window seat provided the owners with key wildlife viewing spots and gave the bridge a central structural point from which the adjacent, angled arms could reach west between the trees to the main house and east between the trees to the new master suite. The result is a precise and carefully designed expression of the landscape: an enclosed bridge elevated above wildlife paths and woven within inches of towering redwood trees.

Our team was approached by a lovely client in early January 2022 to undertake a full home renovation project. The scope of the project initially included updating the interior of the home, with a focus on the kitchen, flooring, all the bathrooms, and the basement. We also took on the task of painting the entire interior of the house, giving it a fresh and updated look. As the project progressed, the client expressed interest in updating the exterior of the home as well. We worked with them to design and build a new deck that provided a functional and stylish space for outdoor entertaining. We also tackled the landscaping of the front and backyard of the property, creating a cohesive and inviting look that complemented the updated interior design. Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client to ensure that their vision was realized, taking care to incorporate their input and preferences into every aspect of the design. We also prioritized functionality and durability, selecting materials and finishes that would stand the test of time and provide lasting value for the homeowner. Despite the scale of the project, we were able to complete it in just four months, from day one to last one. This 1900's Victorian home was a huge undertaking! We took a dilapidated, neglected duplex and gave it a full make over.
