We unlocked its beauty and functionality through an open floor plan and expansive windows and decks, capturing breathtaking mountain views. A gourmet kitchen connects through an open floor plan to the sunny dining room and airy great room. The new master bedroom sits at the top with a commanding panorama. Stunning finishes, energy-efficient systems and a smart home control package make this one of Boulder’s most extraordinary new homes.

Louisa, San Clemente Coastal Modern Architecture The brief for this modern coastal home was to create a place where the clients and their children and their families could gather to enjoy all the beauty of living in Southern California. Maximizing the lot was key to unlocking the potential of this property so the decision was made to excavate the entire property to allow natural light and ventilation to circulate through the lower level of the home. A courtyard with a green wall and olive tree act as the lung for the building as the coastal breeze brings fresh air in and circulates out the old through the courtyard. The concept for the home was to be living on a deck, so the large expanse of glass doors fold away to allow a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoors and feeling of being out on the deck is felt on the interior. A huge cantilevered beam in the roof allows for corner to completely disappear as the home looks to a beautiful ocean view and Dana Point harbor in the distance. All of the spaces throughout the home have a connection to the outdoors and this creates a light, bright and healthy environment. Passive design principles were employed to ensure the building is as energy efficient as possible. Solar panels keep the building off the grid and and deep overhangs help in reducing the solar heat gains of the building. Inspiration for a timeless entryway remodel in Salt Lake City

Creating your dream space in a rental home can sometimes feel limiting, but for this project we focused on unlocking colorful possibilities for our clients. Originally, both office spaces were bare and clean but lacked personality. Our goal was to level everything up while injecting more fun and flavor into the office spaces so they had Zoom-friendly backdrops that made them look forward to going into the office each day. Her space was crafted to be fun, playful and full of texture. A gorgeous wooden bookcase with a unique design accent at the bottom became one of the more practical features of the room while the Zoom-worthy artwork behind her desk gave her colleagues and clients an instant conversation starter.

Figuring out the puzzle pieces to a remodeling project is a challenge we love to do. In the original kitchen, beverages like coffee and alcoholic mixers were spread out as space was available. The new beverage bar is designed to serve the morning java as well as the party drinks in an organized and consolidated place. The door above the beverage cooler houses the coffee maker and supplies while a drawer to the left houses larger bottles that don't need to be chilled.

A natural rise of eight feet from front to back—rare in Sarasota—was embraced as an opportunity. Site walls function as both retaining structures and architectural elements, elevating the pool terrace and entry by over four feet to align with the main interior floor level.
