Customer contacted Allwood Cabinets to remodel a small kitchen in a vintage ranch. A brick wall was removed and replaced with a beam to expand the kitchen to gain an additional 3-4 feet in the kitchen. Old plywood cabinets were replaced with solid maple cabinets. The main cabinets were natural with a chocolate glaze and the peninsula was stained espresso. The heartwood pine floors were sanded and refinished.

CLOSE-UP VIEW This master bath makeover starts with bare walls that have been floated out smooth over the sheetrock. Then we hand applied a beautiful custom tinted, soft grey Venetian plaster. After two coats of plaster, the walls were waxed and buffed. This process seals the plaster, leaving a long-lasting finish. The finished product is subtle and undeniably beautiful! I’ve included a close-up view of the finish below.

The back wall of the bar corner was sided in reclaimed barnwood. The crew carefully selected boards with nail holes to the give the wall more character. Some boards were turned on their side to create floating shelves.
