Our MOSS customer expressed that their 1980’s kitchen was in desperate need of an upgrade and they wanted a space to entertain in. Early in the design process, the homeowners communicated they wanted a big enough space for the kids to do homework; making them close enough to ask questions while Mom or Dad cooks. Inspired by the family’s favorite vacation spot, Colonial Williamsburg, our customers also wanted to incorporate the rich colonial blues that are commonly showcased in that region. Their final piece of inspiration came from the nostalgia of the kitchens they grew up in, reminiscent of the inviting spaces that allowed for friends and family to gather. The end result is a stunning update!

The main residence is set to be completed in a later stage of design and construction, promising a comprehensive and cohesive retreat. We took a tired backyard and pool and turned it in to a wonderful vacation spot. We removed old concrete and interlock around the pool, installed new acrylic 6’ French curved steps and poured a concrete foundation for an Antique Silver Valley natural stone nosing. The deck was replaced with Techo Bloc Blue 60 Shale Grey interlock stone in random square pattern. We replaced the plumbing and moved a new skimmer to the side of the pool that was not visible from the house. A full print white beach pebble was chosen with no border so as not to clash with the detail on the stone. Where we weren’t able to provide natural drainage, a Quaker deck drain was installed to prevent ponding . Custom-designed for both form and function, this area of raised beds is nestled under glistening lights for a warm welcome. Each piece of this resort, crafted with precision, comes together to create a stunning outdoor paradise! From the paver patio pool deck to the custom fire pit, this landscape will be a restful retreat for our client for years to come!
