This unique chalet style home situated on steeply sloped lot previously had no usable front yard, a narrow driveway, and aging, rotted decks. Along with the major home remodel and expansion, we brought the landscape to life again and maximized usable space. New terraced retaining walls along the driveway both expanded the space and allowed for steps up to the front entry. This also created a level front yard for a peaceful artificial grass area sheltered by the beautiful mature oak trees.

The Rose Outdoor Living Space, including deck, patio and fire pit, was designed by Brent Langley. The patio was built using Belgard Moduline pavers and Black Diamond accent pavers from Techo-bloc. The natural gas fire pit was built with Belgard's Wellington Wall blocks with Onyx Black Piedimonte Caps. Low-voltage accent lighting was used under the caps. Hot Tub included.

This contemporary landscape was completely transformed with bluestone patios, pathways and stairways; stucco covered retaining walls, drought-tolerant trees and other plantings along with low-voltage lighting and other accents. The back yard areas also include a small artificial turf lawn and cable railing. Updates to the home's exterior will be completed Fall of 2016. An old, unusable wood-burning fireplace was removed and replaced with a new gas fireplace with a custom- built mantel and entertainment center. The existing wall and framing were modified and a new gas line, new electrical and low voltage wiring were run. We installed new tile, new baseboard and crown and refurbished a beat up column. Carpet was removed and a new hardwood floor was installed. We even ran conduit in the wall for the TV and PlayStation cables.
