Baltic Birch Framed Copper Lamp in Jatoba Base. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s philosophy of Organic Architecture, we’ve designed these lights to feature clean and simple lines that pay homage to American Minimalism, while still creating a warm and inviting interior space from the glowing reflection of an Edison bulb energized by its ceramic period reproduction socket. Baltic Birch plywood brings a level of complexity with its layers of wood, handcrafted to complete each line at the mitered corners of the opened ended box surrounding the bulb. The beautiful base for this lamp is crafted from South American Jatoba wood famous for its gorgeous reddish-brown color and unique interlocking grain patterns. These two woods are joined together by a piece of copper piping, which brings out the best color elements in both woods.
