“You ever notice how supervillains have really good taste in furniture?” I’m proud to bring you another original design! I like to believe that part of myself goes into my work, and I hope the intelligence and creative spirit that went into this piece radiates throughout your home. Enjoy! – Cedrick This ‘Stance’ coffee table started as a slab of redwood for the top, beech and reclaimed cedar for the legs. It measures 64″L x 16.5″W x 15.5″ H, and makes a good companion to a wide, low modern or midcentury sitting area. Black epoxy fill highlights knots and along with a 3 stage finishing process brings a stark, strong look to the table; people tend to stare at the spiraling grain patterns when they first see it. Glass smooth lacquer invites touching and brings that a very deep sheen to the top. The angled legs are suprisingly sturdy and work well for this application while adding an intelligent visual twist. Credit to our lumber suppliers also, Millers Milling and Hughes Hardwood for their superb service.

A quiet office space with built-in bookshelves made in collaboration with a local artisan using FCS-certified reclaimed elm wood. A roman shade references the hummingbirds nesting out the window and celebrates the homeowner’s love of birding. A live-edged wood table made by a local craftsperson provides a beautiful surface for reading and writing, offering a tactile and visual connection to nature. The bookshelves store beloved nature books, with covered storage below deep enough to hold a printer.

First things first…this renovation was certainly a labor of love for everyone involved, from our amazing clients, to the contractors, vendors and us, this project consumed all of us and the outcome is more than Gorgeous. This contemporary home is nestled back in a a great area of St Louis County. A brick ranch with contemporary touches…once adorned glass blocked bar and stairwell, a tiny galley kitchen and a remodeled garage that once housed their “dining and hearth room” but no one ever used that space. CURE Senior Designer, Cori Dyer took this space, completely and brilliantly re worked the configuration and entire floor plan and layout. Tearing out the dividing wall from the kitchen and what was once the garage, allowed the new kitchen layout to be flipped to the now long perpendicular wall, and created an open mega kitchen with great natural light, double islands, eat in kitchen and seating area, bar and open the great room. You can stand among the space at any point and are able to take in the entire view. Creating an uber chic space doesn’t happen on its own…it takes intricate design, research and planning. Custom made cabinets, a double island featuring two surfaces a butcher block and unforgettable marble. This clean color palette plays well with the new custom furniture in the great room, creating a seating area that sparks conversations.
