Our client wanted a calm, sanctuary and we love the finished piece as it is not only serene, but also adds luxury. The furniture was all made bespoke with the sideboard having bevelled doors upholstered in faux leather, which when open reveal drawers - we didn't want to lose the vertical lines of the door fronts! The curtains throughout the property were all handmade, interlined curtains fitted to the ceiling to keep the simplicity of the lines in the house, the voiles behind soften the darker frames beneath.

After a large renovation in the back of the house, this front room was looking neglected. The space had become cluttered and the furniture didn’t reflect the family’s aesthetic. I interviewed them to determine how they wanted to use the room and why it wasn’t working for them. Then, I created several design mock-ups. Once we landed on a style direction, I provided a shopping list for big items and sourced accessories. Now, this little room is one of their favorites!

Our client wanted a calm Master Bedroom suite which could be their sanctuary. The picture in shot was a starting point as the clients loved the soft colours,, so we decided the blues and taupes in the picture would work beautifully in this room. The upholstered wall behind the bed contrast nicely with the Shagreen leather effect wallpaper we used on the wall behind, and the bespoke bedside chests were finished in the Green/Grey high gloss lacquer with Taupe leather drawer fronts and Mother of Pearl handles. For this farm themed mural, 2 year old Rhys wanted yellow ducklings. Yellow is a very transparent colour to paint with, so I always add white primer under it to get a really vibrant and streak-free colour. See more at www.aboutmurals.ca.

Most pressure cookers consist of at least 2 different pressure settings but electric varieties have numerous heating and timing systems, ideal for multi-stage cooking. The durability of the pressure cooker comes down towards the material it can be made of. Thick bases and metal are all signs of your good, long-lasting cooker that will aid you well over the years.
