Cabinet JointThis new build kitchen is a blank slate for any style and is sure to stand the test of time. The perimeter cabinets are finished in Arctic White and the uniquely shaped island was ordered as a custom color: SW Web Grey. Doors are the TW-10 style with a flat panel and square framing bead. The 2 piece crown is a combination of slab fillers and Crown 24, taking the cabinets all the way up to the 9 foot ceiling. Storage will not be a problem in this space!

Two Street StudioExposed open web wood trusses and framing create light filled space for a vehicle and gardening equipment for the clients. In winter, the translucent siding allows the space to function as a greenhouse for temperature sensitive plants.
abarnaiThe simplicity of the geometric shape paired with the striking beauty of blonde curls in the wood grain of the Curly Maple make this custom shelf the perfect, practical statement piece our client was seeking. She came to us with a desire to have a very light and airy piece of furniture for her main living space, under the parameters that it also be practical and provide her much needed shelf space. During the design phase, she showed Adam geometric shelf units that she had been in awe of, both in person at a local yoga studio and through photos she dug up on the web. She wanted the piece to be uniform and elegant, to allow the shape to make the biggest statement, so together they decided to use a single wood type for the construction. They selected Curly Maple for its light, bright color and it’s intricate, multi-dimensional curls.
Rearrange InteriorsThis is one of my extensive Master Bath remodels. The space was graced with vaulted ceilings giving us a very open modern space to work with. The clients were wonderful to collaborate with and very open to my ideas. This was a hands on job, checking quality control as the project progressed from start to finish. Joni Spear Interior DesignThis modern dining space is well juxtaposed in a 1927 structure that was originally a duplex. After converting the space to a single family home and restricted by historic codes and appliances, we were left with a small open concept dining area. The 60" round table seats 8 comfortably. The black acrylic chairs glisten from the globe light pendant fixture. The ceiling is painted in Sherwin Williams #7073 Network Gray. The walls are SW# 7075 Web Gray.

The Integrated LifestyleThis is one of my most recent Audio Video Lifestyle creations for an audiophile resident at the Forum in Cupertino. We were able to present an amazing presentation of the various types of religious music listens to daily from baroque choral / pipe organ to modern day church music. When this client flips on the TV, it becomes a sports stadium. Everything is operated by single remote control which works beautifully with the doors closed. He can even watch the 4 church services which are web cast from his Los Altos church on his 4K 49" TV. Small spaces can provide big music / TV experiences. It's my passion to personalize beautiful technology living spaces for each client.
Allen's Fine Woodworking, Inc.Talk about bringing a kitchen up to date! Little details like the bin pulls and farmhouse sink give a nod to the distant past, but the general tone for this Hood River kitchen is "today." The white on white palette leaves the homeowner free to accessorize at will, but is grounded by the wood accents and beadboard texture of the cabinetry. The dining nook with beautiful distressed table brings people into the kitchen to enjoy time together and gives the area a homey feeling. Medallion Cabinetry will stand up to many years of use and preserve the look of this lovely kitchen for countless meals and gatherings. As always, the design was carefully curated by Allen's Fine Woodworking to ensure the space allows the homeowner to work smarter, not harder.
