These custom box pleated valances add a polished, tailored look to the dining space while beautifully framing each window. Featuring a soft floral print in calming shades of blue, gray, and ivory, the valances bring both color and pattern into the room without overwhelming the space. The structured box pleat design creates clean lines and a refined silhouette, while the contrasting fabric accents add depth, dimension, and a designer-inspired finish.

This valance was a challenge as it wrapped around the entire room and the walls were uneven. We cut the banding and welt on a bias to add interest to the border. Each part of the pattern was cut and carefully centered for a stunning result.

My client has a large family room overlooking the water. The huge windows and sliding door are facing south. Light control is maintained with vertical blinds. We replaced the traditional valances with box pleat valances in a contemporary print. The colors are subtle, white, blue and purple. A 21 foot valance faces the water and there are 6 foot valances on the adjacent walls. The valance has transformed and updated the room.

The exterior face lift included Hardie board siding and MiraTEC trim, decorative metal railing on the porch, landscaping and a custom mailbox. The concrete paver driveway completes this beautiful project.
