This whole-house remodel required us to dig down in the basement to achieve 9'0" ceilings. The result? A spacious, light-filled basement that the owners can use for entertaining.

Huge re-model including taking ceiling from a flat ceiling to a complete transformation. Bamboo custom cabinetry was given a grey stain, mixed with walnut strip on the bar and the island given a different stain. Huge amounts of storage from deep pan corner drawers, roll out trash, coffee station, built in refrigerator, wine and alcohol storage, appliance garage, pantry and appliance storage, the amounts go on and on. Floating shelves with a back that just grabs the eye takes this kitchen to another level. The clients are thrilled with this huge difference from their original space.

Cork tiles were chosen for covering the old floor tiles without removing thewm. This lead to the choice of the beautifil brown granite for the countertops and backsplash andthe brown cupboards:

The flat paneled cabinets and white subway tile in this transitional kitchen are light and bright, allowing the small kitchen to feel more open. The art piece on the adjacent wall is definitely a statement piece, conquering the kitchen with size and color, making it the center of attention.
