This guest bath has a few special touches. My client wanted it to have a some sentimental value without looking too personalized. On the tile mural on the back wall the wine bottle has the year this couple was married, and the napkin has a N for their last name.

Inspiration for a transitional galley kitchen remodel in DC Metro with shaker cabinets, white cabinets and a peninsula

The clients love to travel and what better way to reflect their personality then to instal a custom printed black and grey map of the world on all 4 walls of their powder bathroom. The black walls are made glamorous by installing an ornate gold frame mirror with two sconces on either side. The rustic barnboard countertop was custom made and placed under a black glass square vessel sink and tall gold modern faucet.

The reclaimed mirror, wood furniture vanity and shiplap really give that farmhouse feel!

Master ensuite features a black vanity with modern brushed gold pulls, white quartz counter top, brushed gold faucets, aged gold brass wall sconces, black framed rectangular mirrors against a ceramic tile wood design wall.

Accoya was used for all the superior decking and facades throughout the ‘Jungle House’ on Guarujá Beach. Accoya wood was also used for some of the interior paneling and room furniture as well as for unique MUXARABI joineries. This is a special type of joinery used by architects to enhance the aestetic design of a project as the joinery acts as a light filter providing varying projections of light throughout the day. The architect chose not to apply any colour, leaving Accoya in its natural grey state therefore complimenting the beautiful surroundings of the project. Accoya was also chosen due to its incredible durability to withstand Brazil’s intense heat and humidity. This bathroom is found in the basement of the house. With low ceilings and no windows, the designer was able to add some life to this room through his design. The double vanity is perfect for him and hers. The shower includes a steam unit for a perfect spa retreat in your own home. The tile flowing over to the ceiling brings in the whole room.
