After interviewing several local architects, we hired 3north for a major renovation of a 1940 Georgian and could not have been happier with the end result. Our hope was to update and expand the living space of our home while keeping its design period appropriate and ensuring a seamless transition between the original architecture and the new addition. 3north delivered and then some! They were not just our architects, they truly were our partners in the project. 3north's attention to detail, thoughtful design, responsiveness, creative problem-solving, and collaboration with other project participants surpassed our expectations and helped us enjoy the process along the way.

LOVE THEM. Kristi Lane and her team were great to work with - they were pleasant, patient and did great work! They worked on 3 different iterations of a renovation for us, and then an additional detailed reno plan for our kitchen and master bath. Very detailed, thorough and gorgeous ideas.

3north is a full-service design firm that crafts everything they do—from massive master planning projects down to the smallest muntin details. JMMDS collaborated on the landscape design of a beautiful house 3north renovated and on an 80-acre master plan for the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, both in Richmond, VA. We were thrilled to work with the talented Principal Jay Hugo and his staff, including Chris Hale and Ben Turpin. We look forward to doing many future projects together.

3north has a team in place that is immensely knowledgable, efficient and forward-thinking while at the same time, grounded in tradition. Their knowledge of products and techniques is well-rounded and thorough and their designs are seamless, thoughtful and timeless. I highly recommend them.

We hired Visible Proof to design our retail space (Sweet Spot, a candy store). They helped with the design plan and layout of the space, custom shelving, furniture and lighting selection, lighting plan, color selection, graphics and branding and provided creative solutions for existing columns and small space constrictions. Visible Proof did an amazing job and their vision and professionalism was vital to the success of our shop.
