Eric Bleak and his team do excellent work. Eric is calm, kind and a pleasure to work with. Above all he is honest and he doesn't promise on things he can't deliver. When I was faced with difficult decisions, he coached me through them with good, practical advice, always choosing the solution that ended in my being satisfied with a good finished product. As for the finished product, I am extremely pleased. We hired Eric & 4R Builders for a medium sized remodel to our 1929 home in Seattle. Long story short: they did a great job, and we're really happy with the results. Long story a bit longer: We'd worked with SHKS Architects to plan the project, which encompassed a total bathroom remodel, new windows and closet in a bedroom, and turning a big picture window into a set of French doors. 4R was neither the cheapest nor most expensive bid, but they had the most reasonable sounding schedule & approach, and we'd heard good things about Eric from our realtor and others. From start to finish, Eric did a pretty darn good job communicating with us about the pace of the project, who would be on site and when, and about any delays or hangups. There were delays here and there, of course -- it's the nature of construction -- but we at least knew why, and in the end, it wasn't too bad. We were also impressed that *everyone* who came through our house -- members of the 4R crew as well as subs like electricians, plumbers, tile setters, etc. -- were just lovely people. It's clear that Eric has cultivated these relationships over the years, and it made the process nicer for us, too, since we were living in the house during the renovation. We'd definitely hire them again!

Eric has been masterful in coordinating multiple trades, keeping the project on schedule and budget and providing a beautiful finish result.
