We have had 2 projects with Adrienne and both times we were so happy with the results. The first time we had just bought our beach house and needed color consulting ideas, furniture, rugs, decorative accents, accessories and artwork. It has been a wonderful experience working with Adrienne to update my condo. She has unified the living spaces which include kitchen, dining room, music room, and great room. She worked with a neutral background adding pops of color in shades of blue. She added 3 different area rugs to define the areas while connecting them as well. She followed a transitional style and incorporated pieces that were special to me. She has been a pleasure to work with and her creativity amazes me.

I had a complicated window design. Adrianne was able to select colors and fabric for the valances that complimented the entire rest of the rooms. Her staff was just as friendly as she was. She saved money with her suggestions and prompt attention to all the details.

So, I deliberated for months on whether I should write an honest review since reviews are so powerful. However, I want to prevent a repeat of my very poor experience. We hired Adrienne for a new luxury condo. We are now working with another designer and the experience is completely different. There were four major issues. 1) Adrienne refused to create a design or plan for a 2/2 condo. We were expected to trust her vision as individual items were purchased. She said it wasn't "how she worked". This led to some undesirable consequences since EVERYTHING purchased for the LR is too small for the space. 2) Her method of selection was to create a board on Houzz with 15 completely different versions of said item and I was expected to pick one. That's it. 3) She recommended many cheap looking selections and we wasted so much money buying and installing. 3) Trade discount. At the first meeting she told me that she had discounts. In fact, she did NOT participate in designer retail trade programs like Crate & Barrel. She was very blase about asking me to pay full price and has NO access to "trade only" distributors in NC which tend to be higher quality. 4) Working style. Nothing, absolutely nothing, was easy with her. She had very little availability. The commute to my condo was clearly an issue. At our first meeting, she bragged about her "Northeast work ethic". I would get terse emails about not working on the weekend. My husband still jokes about that. My husband and I reviewed the contract after a month of working with her. The bottom line was that we should have insisted on a smaller initial payment and backed out when things went south. Instead, we continued to invest in furniture with her.... HARD lesson learned.

Adrienne does a great job of helping you feel confident in the color and style choices you select. This is huge because there are so many areas for a lot of projects that all tie together and it is easy to feel overwhelmed or like some of the choices are going to clash. She is an expert at steering you towards the right finishes so know its going to look good at the end.

I cannot say enough about working with Adrienne! A few years back the interior decorator whom I worked with regularly relocated out of state so I bounced from one designer to another never happy with the outcome or cost associated with the finished product. So I was a little reluctant to work with another designer but I’m so glad I took and chance and found Adrienne. She did a beautiful job helping me with renovating our beach house from helping me pick finishes in the kitchen to the paint color to furniture pieces and finally pulling it all together. I never felt pressure through any of the process, she kept to the budget and when I was unsure of a selection she nailed each one she chose for me. Originally hired Adrienne as consultant on my bedroom redecorating project and ended up deciding to go with her for a master bath remodel. Aside from being very kind, she really gets my style and is easy to work with. She pushes me to think outside the box design-wise while still staying in my comfort zone. Brilliant. I know what I like but I haven't spent years studying interior design. Adrienne helped me choose my interior palette, working with existing "fixed" features and taking into consideration the overall feel I am going for. I just finished painting my third room and I am blown away. Total genius! She saved me a tonne of time researching and making mistakes. I am planning on consulting with her again to help me select the color of our exterior shutters and other outdoor accents such as our front door.

I worked with Adrienne on a new home project that required choosing colors and materials from a limited selection. My anxiety was in full effect before Adrienne arrived as I had visions of what I wanted and was not seeing it in the selections being offered. She created such a wonderful and beautiful evening color coordinating, tablecloths, candles, flowers, table favors right down to the cake.
