An Inside Job(Alice) helped me turn a 1917 bungalow into something new and fresh but period appropriate. Going in, Alice explained the areas she could help and through the process delivered. My expectations were exceeded.

I have contracted with An Inside Job twice for design work. The first time I worked with Alice Eichner she came into my home and we worked throughout the house changing draperies, updating lighting/ furniture and replacing carpet. My second project with Alice was larger in scope and involved an update of my kitchen. I have worked with other designers a couple of times with mixed results so I feel I have a good basis for comparison. Alice was adept at recognizing and enhancing my style and not imposing style decisions on me that I would have regretted later. She knew just where to nudge me past my comfort zone to design ideas I love and would never have done without her. She honed in to my decision making style right away and always presented me with three well thought out and researched options which didn't overwhelm me. She was always open to my ideas and suggestions and I still love everything we have ever done together. I always had a clear understanding of costs and time frame and if I went over budget it was due to changes I made through the course of the project. Working with Alice is a delight I highly recommend.

We have used Alice Eichner with 'An Inside Job' for a number of home update and remodeling projects over the years. She has helped us with our complete kitchen re-do along with updating various parts of our home, including flooring, fixtures, painting, appliances etc… Her work has been exceptional and the end results are very pleasing and satisfying. Alice has a great command and knowledge of design principals, vast amounts of experience in Austin, other cities in Texas, and other areas of the US. Her methods and implementation processes for our projects were done in a very professional manner. Also, her understanding of how we like to make choices, along with sticking to our budget made the potential chaos of remodeling almost nonexistent. We have referred her to our friends, neighbors and co-workers and they all report having very good experiences as well.

I hired An Inside Job to help us redo our daughters bedroom. I have seen her work and she has impeccable taste. I live in Denver so the job was done remotely. She made is a piece of cake. The room is exactly as my daughter wanted and teenagers are not easy to please. And we stayed within our budget. I highly recommend An Inside Job for whatever your project.

Alice Eichner is a top-notch professional; she listens, makes suggestions, shares design ideas, and implements impeccably. For a complete remodeling, "re-imagining spaces" project of a mid-80's home in need of updating, we hired her to handle the colors and finishes, appliances and cabinets, countertops and floors, windows and doors and shades. She worked with the furniture and artwork we brought from another home, and we couldn't be happier with the results. When we ran into a glitch with an appliance, she jumped on the problem immediately and made sure it was taken care of. She worked hand-in-glove with the contractor to bring the project in on time, important to us since we were retiring to Austin from another state. Bravo!
