Aloha is what Mike Young is all about! As General Contractor for our bathroom and kitchen renos, Mike was very commnicative and easy to work with. He kept his sub contractors on a good schedule and there were few if any delays in the progress of our project. Billing was straight forward and he was kind and attentive to our needs. In the end, all of us had smiles on our faces and our new kitchen and bathroom was all we had hoped for!

It is not easy to arrange for renovation work on Kauai from the mainland, but once we contacted Michael at Aloha Construction, our worries were gone. He was professional and courteous, always responding to us promptly whether we were on island or in California. Once we began the project, Michael was quick to make adjustments to the work based on our needs, and made sure that we were kept aware every step of the way. We truly appreciated the level of personal support we felt.

I am fortunate to have chosen Michael Young and Aloha Construction for the build out of my slipper shop at Kukui Grove Shopping Center. This was my first experience in opening a retail shop - a complete rookie. Michael was very patient and helpful in explaining the process and following up with myself and others to ensure that things were completed in a timely manner so that the project was not delayed. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of ownership Michael took in the shop build out, allowing me to focus on other aspects of getting the business up and running. Communication throughout the project was stellar. I received frequent and regular updates on the project, was advised of any roadblocks and of any decisions/choices I needed to make to keep things moving forward. Michael demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, is very professional, and conducts himself with absolute integrity. The workmanship of Michael and his team are top-notch - I am so pleased with how the build out turned out. When we purchased our condo in Kappa I wanted to update it. I hired Mike and was very pleased. He and his team did a great job. All work was professionally done and on time. We had our kitchen and bathroom totally redone as well as replacing the door casings, doors and baseboards. He also installed tile in the kitchen, bathroom and hall. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.
