Zakula Kitchen

When we first met with this client, her biggest complaint was, "the kitchen feels so small & I feel claustrophobic when I am cooking." We completely eliminated one wall & also one section containing upper cabinets creating a "pass-thru". In order to do this, we had to move the electrical panel. She was adamant about saving her existing backsplash tile which held sentimental value to her. During the course of construction & demo of the existing countertops & cabinets, a few tile pieces were cracked. Since it was just hairline cracks, she was ok with it, but we definitely weren't. After a lot of phone calls & research, we were able to locate an exact match & replace the broken tiles.
