Randy made our dream come true! Drawn by photos demonstrating his exceptional use of color, texture and pattern, we contacted Randy to refresh the majority of our beloved 23-year-old home. He listened attentively as we explained our goal to honor our love of history, art, nature, family and hospitality with fresher, brighter rooms conducive to frequent entertaining. Using paint, wall coverings, floor coverings, window treatments, furniture, moldings and accessories, Randy brought an uplifting, beautiful new color palette to life — flowing seamlessly throughout and brimming with exciting textures and patterns. Randy’s creative eye, incredible attention to detail, ability to gently stretch us out of our comfort zone, responsiveness and always friendly demeanor form a winning combination. Randy was a pleasure to work with from the beginning! Although our project was small, he gave us the time and attention we hoped for. He was very responsive with any questions we had along the way. Randy Snell has once again exceeded our highest design expectations. After designing our home in Pennsylvania, it was time to completely remodel our beach front cottage. Randy flew down to Manasota Key, Florida, and met with us for the weekend. In that brief 48 hours, Randy was able to guide us from beginning to end. He helped us select main house flooring, bathroom flooring as well as surround tile showers, granite vanity tops, kitchen quartz tops, exotic island granite, and paint colors. In a matter of hours, our beach front cottage established its roots. Upon his return to Pennsylvania, he meticulously worked from the samples he selected to transform our color palette into a fully furnished beach front beauty. The furnishing options Randy provided us with were all perfect. He was able to take our rough visions and turn them into a picture perfect final design. Thank you so much, Randy! You made this project so enjoyable! You are an amazing designer who is able to envision our style and bring it to a reality. Randy Snell (Archetype Design Studio) is fantastic to work with. He really listens to what you are looking for in a project and is quickly able to help define your design goals and wishes, all while respecting your style and budget. On top of his excellent eye, he is extremely easy to communicate and collaborate with. In fact, my husband and I worked with him on an out of state project, yet this was a non-issue. Perhaps what distinguishes Randy the most is his patient and even keeled nature. His good nature makes the process fun and stress-free. I have worked with Archetype Design Studio on 3 different projects in the past 7 years. Randy listens to my “vision” for the project and takes it from there. Recently, he designed a feature wall for my Florida condo. He drew the idea and although I wasn’t quite sure about the placement in the condo I trusted his judgment. I’m so glad I did! Randy helped us to design our house in San Francisco site unseen and was incredible. We loved the finished product from room layouts to furniture to window treatments and received many compliments on the style. Since then, we have also been able to reuse nearly all of the pieces in a new home because we continued to love them and found them to be versatile. Perhaps most importantly, I have never encountered a designer as easy to work with as Randy and his team. He makes the process simple and efficient, and we hope to work with him on future projects.
