Austin Native Landscaping

It's been about 4 months since my landscaping work was completed, and my yard looks great. I worked with both Jason and Reed on the design, and both were very responsive, professional, easy to work with and open to my ideas and thoughts on the project. We xeriscaped a lot of different areas and planted some new plants. The new plants have thrived in the Summer heat and look great. All the members of the crew that completed the work were very friendly and willing to answer any and all my questions during the project. They were efficient and completed the work much quicker than I expected. I am very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend them to others.

We initially contacted Austin Native to help landscape our backyard. We were flexible on specifics but our top two objectives were to extend the patio and remedy minor drainage issues. They were responsive, sent over a nice proposal and worked quickly to finish our project. Since install, we have had two average rain storms that nearly flooded our house - we only avoided serious water damage by buying emergency sump pumps and physically pushing the water away with a broom. After the first storm I contacted Austin Native with videos and pictures and asked for guidance on how to fix it. It took 2.5 weeks and multiple follow ups from me to get someone to take a look. I was then promised a proposal within a few days and it’s now been a week without reply. We got estimates from some other companies who confirmed the way Austin Native installed our landscaping was 100% counter to optimal drainage. We now need to pay nearly 1/3 of what we paid Austin Native to have another contractor fix the issue. I unfortunately cannot recommend Austin Native.

The crew was awesome... The communication was very much lacking. Did not appreciate the communication by text! My driveway was ruined and not cleaned as they finished the job. Underwhelmed with some of the plants,.. I would definitely NOT recommend!

I contacted Austin Native Landscaping (ANL) a year ago to discuss a complete overhaul of my sad, old front yard. Going through several design cycles with Erin, we finally narrowed down on the design, scope and cost of the project. Due to the backlog of projects, ANL could not start on my lawn before Sept '22. The crew arrived exactly on time on the first day, with David walking me though the project phases. Throughout the entire installation, the crew was very respectful of the neighborhood, making sure they were not blocking the mailboxes or driveways. They also cleaned up the area at the end of every day. The result after 2+ weeks of hard work was amazing....my neighbors loved the look, thanks to Devon, Ryan, Daniel, Christian and lead, Mike. This team is awesome to work with and I highly recommend this company for your future lanscaping needs

Great company. Very professional, quick, and adaptive to our needs. Not only did they devise and execute a great plan for us, but they also found and corrected mistakes the builders made (such as placing one of sprinkler heads underneath our deck).

Austin Native Landscaping is a top notch landscaper and a really well run business made up of pleasant and hard working professionals. We could not be any happier!! High quality work. Extremely pleasant management and workers. Great work ethic. Interactive process to develop the plan. Really good eye for design. Great recommendations. Yard diagrams were really helpful in ensuring a common sight picture. Lots of interesting options for materials and plants. Synthetic turf/artificial grass is high quality and well installed. Sticks to the plan but flexible in taking in-stride adjustments. Installed an enclosure for trash cans that was not part of the original plan. For the work they did not do themselves, they used quality sub-contractors. For example, one sub-contractor installed two patios with a really interesting finish that look great!! Graded out the yard to fix a drainage problem that was causing standing water/mosquito problem. Thorough understanding of plants; where they should be planted; how to take care of them. The pricing and billing was detailed but easy to understand. We would highly recommend Austin Native Landscaping to anyone looking for high-confidence, quality work.

We have nothing but good things to say about working with Austin Native Landscaping. They were completely transparent with their pricing, provided plenty of options for us, made edits to the plans when we requested, and were even able to accommodate some last second changes in the middle of the project. They finished all of the work a day earlier than they originally quoted, as well, which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend Reed and his team for your landscape needs.

Austin Native Landscaping executed a total-garden makeover for our property and my husband and I are thrilled with the result. Reed, Jason, Andrew, Mike, Jose and crew were professional, timely, creative, accommodating, flexible, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed working with each and every member of the company. Reed and his team just finished an amazing job converting what was a convoluted backyard "weed city" into an easily-maintainable, xeriscaped landscape with native vegetation. We fully expected this work to take multiple weeks, but the team completed the job in 5 days. We have worked with other landscaping companies in the past - below are the main things that defined Austin Native Landscaping as the best: 1. Responsiveness - Reed always responded to our emails within the same business day, sometimes even within the hour. 2. Knowledge - Reed and his team were always able to answer my questions and provide their feedback, even concerning areas of the yard on which they weren't specifically working. It is very clear that Reed knows his stuff when it comes to native Texas plants and landscapes. 3. Flexibility - The team prioritized our needs and availability. They readily accommodated our request to add an extra bed in the backyard for our dog, and put it in for free. 4. Guarantees - Reed has told us that if a plant dies, he will replace it for free.
