Matt and Sarah just finished the final walk threw in our new kitchen and from start to finish it was just an outstanding job. The quality and attention to detail seemed to be the number one priority for the whole team. High praise to Mary and Katlin on the design and Ron and Murray putting it all together of course we can't forget Dick who kept all the work flowing on schedule. We had a text each morning from Dick letting us know what was to happen that day so communication was never lacking or any type of issue. If you have to be without your kitchen for 2 months while the new one is coming together you would definitely want the Berry Built team working for you.

We love our new kitchen and bath, and it fits perfectly in our mid-century home. Sarah, Matt, and the design and construction team at Berry Built are top notch and so enjoyable to work with. Our experience using Berry Built was an extraordinary success. Our complete kitchen remodel took approximately 12 weeks. From the beginning of our project Matt, Sara and team provided superior client service. They listened to what we wanted and provided expertise when appropriate. They created multiple potential plans in order to provide us with options and came up with creative ideas to fit in everything on our wish list. They also kept in mind our budget and were careful to point out to us when the design or scope changes we requested were going to make the project more expensive. We are pleased with the excellent quality of the work and the attention to detail. Communication during the entire project was outstanding.

We interviewed three contractors for our complete kitchen remodel earlier this year. All were businesslike and had good approaches to what we were trying to communicate about our needs and desires. We had never hired a contractor before, other than roofers and exterior painters. The reason that we chose Berry Built is multifold, but the primary reason was that they listened to us, and they respected our thoughts and opinions. Another reason we were so pleased with this company was the crew. Although skilled craftsmen to the highest degree, we missed them all when they were done, as they had become like family to us. My husband asked Matt Berry for a photograph of the crew so we could remember them. Since complete, we have received many, many compliments on our new kitchen; it looks like it is from the pages of a high end kitchen remodel magazine. We are totally thrilled and will definitely ask for their help again when we remodel our bathrooms. Berry Built is fantastic. Their work on our kitchen/living room/dining room remodel was all quality craftsmanship. They were always on time each step of the way and on budget. All of the workers were very considerate of our home and left the work area clean each day. Sara was most helpful with the design and colors for our space. We highly recommend them.

We are very excited how the whole project turned out. We really like our space and have already gotten many many compliments from people who have visited. Matt Berry and his team did an outstanding job of renovating our master bathroom. Matt's wife, Sara, is a decorator with an amazing eye for color and detail. After meeting with Matt to discuss the logistics of the project, Sara met with us to listen to our thoughts on style and color scheme. Every question we had was answered and there were no surprises in the billing amount, time schedule, or final result. We loved the fact that we could find ideas on Houzz and Sara could immediately see our idea book. Matt and his team are true professionals who do quality work.

Matt and Sarah and every single one of their employees and contractors were a pleasure to work with. They gave us a realistic budget and timeline and came in on schedule and under budget! Their tradesmen were highly skilled, on time, reliable, enjoyable to get to know and were very open to questions and feedback. We had somewhat of a vision of what we wanted but they brought fresh ideas to the table and helped us come up with an amazing main floor remodel (kitchen, powder room, laundry room, formal living room, family room, and dining room!). When I was planing to remodel my bath last fall I met with the Berry's. They listened to all my special needs and delivered an exceptional design. No imagination required as with some of the others, they provided a full layout to review. Unfortunately I was not able to complete my project at the time but as you can tell they made a lasting impression on me. I referred a friend today so I thought I would do the same for you. Berry Built has designed and remodeled a majority of our 5000 square foot home including the kitchen, two full baths, and master bath over many years. The Berry design team brings unique spacial ideas and really tries to incorporate the tastes of the customer. Although it is always a difficult task selecting finishes, Sara and Manda are patient and provide many options and suggestions. The end result is always a finished area of high design and functionality. The contractor side of Berry Built is just an impressive conglomerate of craftsmen who each excel in a different area of expertise. I've used other contractors in the past and I have never come across a group as talented or who work as well together. Projects are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. I can't say enough wonderful things about Berry Built and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a design and build contractor.

Looked for a long time to find the perfect contractor to re-do our outdated master bathroom. Knew on first encounter that Berry Built was the contractor for us. Their design direction and understanding of our wishes was impeccable. We needed a remodel on our guest bathroom, and had seen the work done by Berry Built on a friends lake house, and she highly recommended them. We are very happy with the work done, the quality is excellent, Amanda's recommendations were perfect and the job would have been done on time if the glass people had been able to deliver on time - not Jerry's fault. The best part is that they came in under budget! I would totally recommend them for a quality bathroom remodel ;).

My wife and I had been talking about updating our kitchen for some time and contacted several different companies before contacting Berry Built and Design. All of the companies we talked with asked us what we wanted to do, and then told us how much it would cost. Matt and Sara Berry of Berry Built and Design were the only ones who had the vision to show us what we could do, not only with the kitchen but also how an open concept could include the dining and living room also. Once we saw their vision for what our kitchen could become we were sold. There was no pressure to make up our mind, in fact we even waited a year before we had it done. Once we decided to have Berry Built and Design do the job things moved along very quickly. There were workers at our home every day, and we were always kept informed of what to expect. The workmen who did the work could not have been more pleasant and professional, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. As with any project of this size, things were bound to come up that were not anticipated and Matt or Jerry from Berry Built were always able to explain what the problems were, and always had a solution to those problems. We never realized all the choices that needed to be made for this remodel, from picking out floor color, to what kind of sink to get , what kind of faucet, what colors to paint the walls, ceiling, and trim, what type of counter top and what color etc. It could have been overwhelming if it weren’t for Sara and Manda at Berry Build. They were always available to offer suggestions, send over samples, and let us know based on there expertise what would go together from a design point of view. I can’t say enough about the quality of work done by the professionals who work for and with Berry Built and Design, and it is a comfort to know that if problems were to come up in the future that we have one point of contact for whatever might need to be taken care of. We are enjoying our remodeled home with all the new updated conveniences and have received nothing but great comments from friends and family when they see the work done by Berry Built and Design. The team at Berry Built is a one-stop shop. The family-owned company is run by Matt, who is a general contractor. His wife Sara is an interior designer. Another professional works out the floor plans and offers many options. They employ craftsmen with expertise in all aspects of building/remodeling. Every single person who came to our home was professional and respectful of our home (shoes always came off). In the showroom, there are samples of products to choose from. We only went to two vendors outside of their showroom to select lighting, tub and plumbing fixtures. The experience was a very good one. The project was big. It was well thought out and we were on time and on budget.

This review is for Berry Built Design Services. Design Service: First I hired the designers to do my kitchen design. I had spent too much time on the internet, with graph paper, at Box stores and was feeling overwhelmed and like I was missing something. I met a KBD (Kitchen Bath Designer) from another city, while on vacation, who convinced us to hire a design firm. So we hired the Berry team for design first and never ever regretted it. It was money very well spent. Matt and Manda came to the house, took photos and laser measurements, and chatted with us about what we loved/hated and wanted. Then the team presented us with three options for updating and improving the function of our 1979 soffited kitchen. We picked one option right away, and then spent quite some time working out the details. I loved the objective input on function. I found them to be very good listeners and very attentive to our needs and style, even when I brought in comments from my husband second hand. I was encouraged to find and share ideas on Houzz which worked really well for collection, discussing, using and or discarding ideas. Manda and Sara showed a great understanding of our style right off the bat. I really appreciated the guidance in color, material and finish selection. When I was unsure of which finish to choose, the guidance provided was always appropriate. The team had a great attention to detail – my cookbooks were measured and a space was found for them; and special space was found for a requested unique pull out. Their understanding of how to best use space is phenomenal. I was presented with a final set of plans with every finish, knob, appliance and fitting decided upon and ready to go, for any builder. In the end, I have a kitchen that is amazingly beautiful and incredibly functional. Everyone wants to know what walls were moved, and the answer is, “none” . With the guidance of the Berry Built design team, my ’79 builder-grade, dysfunctional kitchen has been transformed into a beautiful space that gives me joy to work in every day. I would highly recommend this company for kitchen design.

Berry Built gets modern. We interviewed a number of firms for our job, but Berry Built stood out by a mile - unlike any other in the Inland Northwest.

We talked with the Berry’s for nearly a year before the start of our project. They patiently presented us with four designs, ranging from kitchen remodels within our existing floor-plan to more extensive remodels of our upstairs. The Berry’s clearly explained our various options, and we never felt pressured to make decisions. In the end, we decided to go with the most extensive remodel plan, and we could not be happier with the outcome. We feel like we have not just a new kitchen, but a new house. If you have a chance to work with BerryBuilt, you can be confident that the project will be well coordinated and executed to the highest standards. The Berry’s have a team of full-time workers and regular subcontractors, and they work together like a “well-oiled machine.” Once they started work on our house, there were guys on the job every weekday until the job was substantially complete—no waiting for plumbers, electricians, appliance delivery, etc. Every tradesman who came through our door was friendly, and they took enormous pride in their work. These guys are not just looking to knock out a project—they have exacting standards, and they aim to please. They were always willing to answer questions, and they took steps to minimize our disruption (for example, they taped off living areas to minimize dust, and cleaned thoroughly every day before leaving). A major remodel can be stressful, but I can tell you that we had no stress whatsoever about the quality and timeliness of the work that was being done by the Berry team.
