We have worked with Jared and the un.box Studio team on a variety of infill projects - single family, multi-unit condos and custom builds. Jared brings a thoughtful approach when working alongside the builder, always striving to understand the cost of construction and the feasibility of executing his designs in field. When working with our custom clients, he carefully balances the un.box aesthetic with client's preferences to create distinguished but highly livable designs. Infill building is especially challenging and un.box navigates that environment with ease. We appreciate his collaborative mindset, as it brings value to all parties.

We have collaborated on several smaller residential remodel and restaurant/ food and beverage projects and I tend to want to echo the sentiments of all the other five star reviews here as well: Jared & Unbox will bring great design to your project. I think that the studio's attention to project details couples well with their awareness of material possibility in design. Great people to work with as well; you'll end up good friends who are invited to cool parties and events hosted by the studio.

We have had the pleasure of supplying reclaimed materials for a project that Jared Haas of un.box studio designed. He used our antique reclaimed tobacco pine in a modern bathroom design and it turned out amazing. He understands how to marry the incredibly modern with the warm, rich, history that only reclaimed wood can bring to a project. He knows how to created the modern design his clients love while giving them the warm and inviting details that make their space a home or their office space a place that clients love to visit. Jared is the persona of Austin architecture, young, bright, innovative and he finds new ways to create original work and not just follow the crowd. It is a pleasure to be a part of an un.box studio project and we look forward to collaborating with them on their amazing contributions to the look, feel and future of Austin architecture.

Jared and his team have impeccable taste Our remodel project was difficult because we asked him to take the addition in a more modern direction, without violating the sensibility of the existing parts of the house. The results have been spectacular! Every person who enters our home remarks on how different the space feels, and yet, how it feels as though it should have always been this way. Jared nailed each request, and applied a unique sense of scale and proportion, which was difficult because of a monster-sized, existing fireplace that had to stay in the design. Un-Box was the right combination of responsiveness, cooperation, collaboration, care, talent and price. Which...after 3 previous tries with other firms, is nothing short of miraculous. I would recommend Un-Box whole-heartedly!

My husband and I met Jared through a friends recommendation 6 m ago and have been working with him on our upcoming project since then. We knew the day we had our initial consult that he was the right fit for us as we were gearing on a contemporary look. His past projects were phenomenal . Our family has had Lake property,used as a family park for over 2 generations;mostly in the summer and for celebratory events. Our need was to create a space for a growing family and expand time together in a conditioned room. Jared Haas has been able to translate the vision of our dreams and create a space married to the land! Jared's keen professionalism was exhibited at the weekly meetings with the contractor, and later the interior designer and the landscape designer. His calmness, while always staying focused was the key to completing the project with the entire team being just that! Jared has an endless well of creativity!
