Regarding the concern referenced after project completion, we would like to clarify for future readers that the water leak originated from a pre-existing issue within the home’s plumbing system in an area that was not part of our construction scope and had not been accessed during the renovation. When the issue was discovered late on a Friday, our team responded immediately, arrived on site the same day, cleaned and dried the affected area, installed mitigation equipment, and brought in an independent mold remediation professional to verify conditions. No damage or mold was found.

While we understand that unexpected situations during a renovation can be stressful, our team acted quickly and responsibly to protect the home and ensure there were no lasting impacts.

Regarding pricing structure, Cabex operates as a design-build firm using a contract model that clearly outlines scope, specifications, and total project investment prior to construction. This structure is standard within the design-build industry and is discussed in detail with clients before contract execution.
