Best home improvement I ever experienced. My salesperson, Clark, was AMAZING - I must have had at least 25 different phone and or email conversations with him & never once did he rush me off the phone or make me feel like I was bothering him. He was unbelievably knowledgeable and gave me so much information so I was able to make a decision on my flooring. I went with Natural.Bamboo and it is BEAUFIFUL! THEY ARE THE BEST!

Eric and the customer service team at Cali Floors went above and beyond. They handled all my need in a timely and super efficient way. I would highly recommend their flooring. I love, love, love mine.

If there is option give zero star i will, i bought stair nose and paid $250 i cant return the items they wont accept and they told me to throw away. ridiculous business practice, i cant imagine they are still on business. zero customer satisfactions stay away from this company and its products.

These floors are terrible. They are described as waterproof, scratch resistant blah...blah... blah. They are not! We noticed cracking within a year of having them! They separate, they crack, they scratch very easily. It's been 4 years now and they just get worse. We do not recommend. I have contacted them several times but they don't care. What a waste of money.

Do not buy floors from Cali Floors. I bought over 12k of engineered hardwood in June 2023. My contractors struggled with the installation of it, saying that a lot of the pieces were not clicking as they should. They were also planks with the top being bamboo only and not engineered hardwood. Less than a year later pieces are popping up all over even though my installer had the floor leveled and prepared before installing. Cali Bamboo paid for an inspector to come and they blame all of the popping on the installation. So now I'm out a LOT of money and there's nothing they will do. Highly rude customer service and extremely disagreeable company.

I worked with Cali sales rep, Alexis and she was top notch! Super communicative (answered all my questions), helpful and responsive via phone and email. The Mavericks laminate (Honey Harbor) flooring is beautiful and was delivered in the timeframe she estimated. It was such a relief to find these great looking quality laminate floors online after searching for quite awhile in my local shops. They also sent me several free samples which made it easy to compare to other flooring and make a decision quickly. Compared to the sample, the floor looks lighter now that it is installed. Apparently that is typical of most floors, so plan for it. I've walked around on them for two weeks now and they definitely feel solid, heavy duty and of excellent quality. I highly recommend Cali Flooring... their products and customer service are the best!!

The shipping and delivery is taking forever. I ordered in October and paid in full in early November. They started shipping my order after I contacted customer service. When I finally got the first shipment in December, it came in with wrong quantity, missing the majority. and later I found out what's delivered is of wrong product. Only a few customer service is helpful. Most of them do not act with sense of urgency. I do not hear back within 24 hr on a business day even after I requested update. Not even an acknowledgement. The business operation is very questionable.

Kasey was great helping us find a similar-enough match to a flooring that was discontinued since our last house project in 2014. We really appreciated her assistance, and the flooring is still lovely and durable.

We selected the Natural Fossilized Wide T&G and were so excited. Sadly, we had a horrible experience all the way from product quality to interactions with the company. We were assured of the ease of installation by our sales rep (TJ Denny). When our construction team went to float the floor they discovered that the dimensions and hardness of the material resulted in air pockets that would lead to early wear. They attempted two additional methods of installation and encountered issues with all. Our team tried to communicate with Cali's installation experts but were simply passed from person to person. While TJ had been very responsive and reachable prior to the purchase, it took a week to hear back regarding installation issues and we only received a response after escalating to a manager. We decided to return the product - Cali charges a 25% restocking fee, and shipping costs, and will not accept open boxes (their installation guidelines tell you to open all boxes prior to beginning work). Luckily, we had begun with only two boxes. The quality team and sales were incredibly evasive and rude throughout the process, so much so, that we filed a BBB complaint (after which the Cali reps were suddenly polite though not forthcoming). The time from installation issues to refund was nearly 3 months .... and hours and hours of advocacy and emails. After digging further, it seems like there are overarching issues with the quality of Cali's products including wear after 6 months. Would absolutely recommend just choosing a different company!!

Loved our experience with Calibamboo for our beach house. They sent it on a specific delivery date for us. We chose Natural Elm in Mute Step. It looks great and according to our flooring guy, it was a great product and we had very little broken pieces. He ordered 10% more than needed and I believe we had every bit left over.

While the floors are not yet down as we're preparing for a kitchen reno, working with the folks from Cali was a great experience. They were responsive and patient sending out many samples quickly and following up with me consistently. While initially skeptical as he was not familiar with Cali, my contractor was very impressed by the quality of the flooring after seeing the samples. Shipping was on time and the communication was generally very good throughout that process. Cannot wait to get my new floor down.

Super happy with this product and the company!! The vinyl planks exceeded my expectations…. From the delivery to the installation everything was faultless. Delivery - product was well protected and packaged so no damage to planks. The size of the planks are realistic and it’s hard to tell that it’s not wood (but better) hard wearing material. Installation I did myself and with some online tuition and practice the product lays down very well. Be patient and prepare correctly, there’s a method when installing them and two people is better than one……. As the planks are long when guiding the join up. Don’t force them you’ll break the t&g style connection.

We are loving our new floors! Alexis helped us with purchasing, shipping and even picking out the best floor color for our unique Florida log home . She was awesome! Cali responded quickly when we had a couple of things missing from our shipment. Our floors look amazing! So happy we went with Cali flooring! Excellent product and excellent service!

Excellent quality product. I am disappointed in a couple particulars. I asked my sales associate where the product was manufactured and they didn't state explicitly I wish it was manufactured in the Americas using our recycled plastics, not China. Each board is individually wrapped in plastic, which creates immense waste and very time consuming to remove. After some rains, mold has developed on the unnecessary paperwork included with each board. I wasn't able to recycle either given the plastic wasn't clean. I I'm buying this product in-part due to it's eco footprint and these issues are counter to that end. If the plastic is necessary to protect the product I question it's durability.

The communication was great, customer service was beyond expectation, and I am very happy with the Vinyl Longboards. Great product. Easy to install. Fast efficient service. There were no instructions for installation but this was our 3rd time installing LVP so we knew what to do.

We had samples of this before we installed and the material that clicks the planks together was breaking. We were assured it was just because it was a smaple and that it wouldn't happen to the flooring once installed. Well, here we are 6 months later and it IS happening! There are 3 different places were the planks are separating and lifting because the connection has been broken. Now the rep won't get back to our installer and it's ridiculous! Way overpriced and don't count on company support if there's a problem!

I used the Classic Acacia mute step vinyl plank for my finished basement and couldn't be happier! Great product, excellent customer service.

Purchased the Cali Vinyl Pro with Mute Step in South Seas Oak for my basement (installed over concrete with Cali's 6mm underlayment). The quality of the product is really high, and the install was amazingly easy. The finished product looks amazing as well as feels solid (and quiet!) like a study hardwood. My 2 crazy Boxer dogs run around on it without any apparent scratches to the flooring (unlike the hardwood that I have on my home's main level). Chose Cali vinyl for basement for both color selection and very low VOCs (greenest vinyl plank flooring that I could find in the color that I needed). I worked with Steve at Cali and he was amazing: great customer service, answered all my questions as well as advised on product and its install. Delivery was fast (within the week I placed order) and everything arrived nicely packed and undamaged. Just a great experience overall -- and I'm super pleased with the product. Highly recommend.

Happy with the selection we made. Just the right size and length and service was more than satisfactory. This project took longer than expected due to global circumstance. But we were able to get right back on track without much hassle.

This is our second time flooring a home with Cali bamboo but the first buying direct. Ian was so great to work with, stayed in touch throughout the process, and ensured that the flooring was delivered when we needed it. The whole shopping experience with Cali Floors was very good thanks to Andrea's friendly, helpful professionalism. The Odyssey engineered flooring boards came fast and very well packaged, and though we have not installed them yet, the quality looks really good. Not too much spillage as far as I can see.

The product looks and feels great. I personally prefer smooth to the embossed texture of the LVP and of course the fact that the pattern is real instead of printed makes it look, in my opinion so much better. I've only had the stuff for about a month and I'd say realistically it scratches. Not everywhere and not at the drop of a hat but I do have a couple scratches that don't quite buff out. Only time will tell on the waterproof aspect. Installation was extremely easy!

I received the Cali Bamboo vinyl flooring samples shortly after placing the order. My spouse and I selected the color and ordered the flooring. The items were neatly packed and arrived without any damages. The contractor worked alone and installed the first room in 7.5 hours and the second room the following week in less than 7 hours. Both rooms look terrific and he did not have any problems installing the flooring.

Sales team was very knowledgeable and helped spend as much time as we needed to make the decision while picking our floors. They spent hours on the phone with us answering our questions and guiding. Product samples very sent to us timely to start our selection process. Overall very happy with with the product and customer support. We have not installed the floors yet but the quality of the planks is wonderful and can't wait to enjoy our new floors.

I spent hours researching to find a high quality flooring option that that was not super unaffordable. I stumbled upon Cali’s site after reading about them on a blog that put them in comparison with some of the top “familiar” brands. I purchased some samples and and fell in love with the texture/colors/quality of their floors. I have since installed their flooring in several rooms and plan to in more! I can’t imagine ever using another type of flooring again. Their LVP is top of the line and does not feel fake like most LVP’s on the market. I’d addition, their customer service is OUTSTANDING. They really care about their customers. Everything about this company is FIVE STARS!

I searched far and wide for an eco- friendly floor. I have chemical sensitivity and allergies. The floor didn't disappoint and are beautiful. Everyone loved them. I settled on the Deep Sea Eucalyptus.

I do not like the new wood with it being engineered. I prefer the resin infused stranded bamboo. but the floor is beautiful. Alex is awesome and helpful with return sales. my whole family has used him.

The quality of the wood floor we purchased is incredible. We got the solid mocha bamboo flooring. I'm about half way done putting it in. It's much easier to install than some of the Pergo laminate floors I've done in the past, and it looks so much nicer. My only word of warning to anyone who chooses this wonderful flooring is wear gloves. I got a lot of very small, hard to get out splinters until I I started wearing some light gloves. I guess it proves it's solid wood. Anyway, we love this flooring!

We are very pleased. The flooring was packed well and arrived in excellent condition. The installation has been relatively easy. Best of all, it looks beautiful!

These floors are the best. i’ve just done my third property in Cali vinyl and I expect to do another one this summer and more as money permits. It’s all about natural elm. Everyone thinks it’s real wood. Reach down and touch them, they feel real. The Elm shows no dirt. I’ve laid down the Java and that actually does show foot prints in so I won’t be using that again. Literally, the only thing that is a giveaway that it isn’t wood, is if light hits it in a certain way, at a certain time of day, it doesn’t have the same sheen that natural wood has as you’re looking across the floors surface. You can’t tell by looking straight down at it, though. And you can’t tell if no light is streaming across the floor (like sunlight). Overall, that’s a very small thing. I can tell you that installing these floors is the number one thing you can do to upgrade a place. Better than granite and stainless steel kitchens. Better than remodeling the bathroom. I buy it from my rentals. More expensive definitely but every person that walks in says oh my God I love the floors and wants to rent the place. 50 years of complements like this? And more money for rent. No brainer. I figure, by the time you factor in the cost of tearing out and disposing of whatever flooring was there before, and you pay for underlayment that most floors need as a buffer, (not Cali) and you pay for installation, and baseboard molding, that alone is $4,000 for 1000 square feet (in California anyway). Why not get the benefit of a floor that looks fantastic and real for decades? Otherwise you’re spending all your money on installation. That doesn’t make any sense to me. And no matter what laminate, vinyl or wood you put in, it’s all gonna cost about the same to install. And It’s also super easy to deal with the sales people and The shipments come very well packed and right in schedule.

Marek was excellent and helped me through the whole process and was super patient. The product was of very good quality. I did not give a 5 star because I reordered more material within the month and they were not able to honor the sale price. Otherwise I would have rated them at a 5.

A little lack of communication on the actual delivery date of the floors. The email sent had a certain date indicated, but that was not the date it was delivered. Took a few emails to figure out when my floors were to be delivered to my residence. A little frustrating as I had to coordinate my help twice, and the first time was for nothing. The actual bamboo floor quality was fantastic and my sales rep Kasey was great.

Jim Destigter was the absolute best. Superior customer service and superior product—will continue to use more from Cali on future projects.

We are very pleased with the professional service provided by the Cali representative when we were selecting the flooring for a new addition in our home. The Cali Pro flooring we selected is absolutely beautiful, installed easily and quickly (we did use a flooring installation professional), and we are just extremely happy with our new floor. We will be purchasing additional Cali Pro luxury vinyl flooring in the coming months as we complete remodel of other rooms in our home.

I purchased Natural Elm PRO Mute Step Wide+ Click Vinyl Plank Flooring. This is gorgeous flooring. It looks like natural wood, easy to install, wonderful to walk on. Everyone who sees the floors comments how beautiful my new wood floors are. When I tell them they’re vinyl not wood they look confused, look closer at the floors, look back up at me with a questioned look of are you sure? These floors are that nice.

Great customer service. Delivery went well and timely. Ordering was easy and the rep was professional and helpful. Delivery - the driver was very nice, perfectly on-time and gave me notice when the truck would arrive. Job well done!!

This flooring is amazing , absolutely gorgeous , super easy to install, with the mute step and extra padding underneath there is no noise downstairs when walking around upstairs .

the finished product is beautiful, but as someone who doesn't do this on a regular basis, installation was not really fun. It seems like there is such a small 'window' of where it will click into place, and if you don't recognize what that is, you're going to end up re-doing a lot. Tongue and groove would have been a lot easier to work with. The strips tended to be very fragile and we ended up breaking a number of them - good thing we got extra...but the finished product is beautiful and worth it. Love that it is essentially waterproof and I don't have to worry about any swelling when water gets on it. Customer service is excellent! Mike was amazing and very patient with me and all of my questions.

Added a 1,000 square feet of vinyl longboards. Beautiful product and Cali Bamboo is a great firm. Will definitely use them for future projects.

Sifting through the myriads of floor options was a major headache. Visiting all of the big warehouse stores only made it worse. Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful ...We chose the fossilized mocha tongue and groove bamboo flooring... We had it installed yesterday... and could not be happier with how it came out... Gorgeous color, Compliments are new kitchen cabinets and black granite countertops perfectly... Our contractor said it went down a fairly easy and there wasn't any issues with the install. Thank-you Steve Zanini for your many patient, non-pushy phone calls, and willingness to send as many samples until we arrived at the right flooring option for us...

Cali Bamboo advised me for my flooring and they sent me some samples of the material, Tommy, the representative,was very helpful,cordial,and professional. He sent me the right amount to order and other advices. The price was not that expensive,far less cheaper then other stores (local stores). I was very pleased.

After many hours of looking into different Vinyl Luxury Plank flooring, we decided on Cali Bamboo. I am very happy with the Seaboard Oak Longboards. I ordered probably 20 different flooring samples, read reviews after reviews, until I was sure this was the flooring we wanted to go with. I ordered directly from their website. I was in contact with the sales rep Ryan through the whole process. He was able to get it to us in a few weeks. I have received many compliments so far and am very happy with the end result.

I have had such a positive experience with Cali on two separate occasions, I cannot say enough good things about them. The sales rep, Jessica, was helpful and positive each time I talked with her. When things were not quite what was promised (shipped too early), they made compensation without question. But best of all the product is phenomenal. I laid 600 ft sq of engineered bamboo my first time and the flooring went together effortlessly and the end results were breathtaking. Unfortunately, after a home flood, the entire house had to be refloored. Of course I called on Cali again, with the same great service and great product. I would highly recommend Cali to anyone.

After being helped quite a bit by Mitchell Dwelley, a Cali representative, and considering multiple samples Mitchell arranged to have sent to me, I purchased the Cali Windswell Hickory vinyl longboards as well as the Cali Complete underlayment and metalized seal tape. Everything I ordered was carefully packaged and arrived ahead of schedule. Installation over old ceramic tile was completed by two workers in one day. Making changes to a home originally constructed in 1790 can be a real challenge, but we are delighted with our very attractive new kitchen floor! Also relevant is the fact that the total project cost was far below what it would have been had we decided to replace the old ceramic tile floor.

This company went above and beyond both in product quality and customer service and I really wish I could give them an even higher rating, because five stars seems so little to evaluate how amazing these guys are. You know how they often say, the representative is a reflection of the company and our representative, Kyle K., is an embodiment of all the good qualities which made our experience so wonderful: professional, friendly, mindful of the needs of the customer, attentive, organized, detail-driven, communicative, and, most importantly for us, sincere and consistent. He was patient and effective, helping us with overnight shipping of the missing pieces we needed and helping with the processing of a return for the surplus we no longer needed. Our order came faster than expected and was in great condition when it arrived. We’ve now had our floors down for 4 months and we’re so glad that we chose Cali Bamboo. The floors look great and our two large German Shepherds are no match for the true hardness and durability of the fossilized floors. We completed one whole level in our home and will definitely be moving on to finish the second level soon. Installation with the click fit makes it super simple to get great results. We’ve used other click fit products in the past but these worked so much more consistently on every board we laid. 1600 sq ft. and ready for more. Definitely a great product and top level service from Mitchell Dwelley. Everything from taking the order to delivery of the boards and trim to our door step.

Floor ring is not slippery, is quite sturdy with a tough wear layer, yet resilient underfoot. I like the fact that it has an inner core of lime stone that will not compress or collapse under the weight of a heavy object. It was very easy to install.

DIY installed Cali Mocha Fossilized Wide Click Eco-Engineered floor in master bedroom, 2 walk in closets and hallway. Purchased direct from Cali. Positives: 1. Beautiful floor. 2. Hardest floor around - My dogs (55 and 85 lbs) can't hurt it. 3. Interlock was easy to install. 4. Board length is 78", so we liked there were not as many joints as with 36". 5. Cali's underlayment is easy to work with since it folds and cuts easily. Good sound damping. 6. Good customer service and they sent samples. Negatives: 1. Most boards were warped, although they did lock together easily ( acclimated boards for 5+ days after removing them from box). The floor wasn't particularly level so I went for it and completed the installation. After quarter round trim was installed by the baseboard (brad nailed to baseboard), the planks would flex and squeak if we walked near the wall. I spaced the quarter round trim away from the floor so the plank wouldn't flex up and touch the trim. Also added some underlayment near the high spots to reduce flex. 2. I thought color variation was excessive and required careful selection to make it look decent. Bottom line is this is a beautiful, hard floor that is easy to care for. Just figure out a strategy for dealing with the warping.

We just had the Natural Solid T&G Eucalyptus installed and are so happy we choose it. Alex with CaliBamboo was awesome to work with and able to answer my many questions in a timely manner. He was very helpful. We LOVE our floors and have already received several compliments on it. Feels really nice under foot too.

We bought 1500 sq feet of grey ash vinyl planks for our basement and we have a dark grey bamboo flooring on our main living space which is around 1500sq ft. So far we have completed 3 rooms downstairs with the vinyl. It has been very easy to install and we are loving it. I almost wish I would have done the vinyl upstairs too. I love our hard bamboo flooring but it does show everything, including feet prints. But I do have 5 kids and 2 dogs so it’s pretty chaotic in my house. Our hard bamboo flooring is 5 years old and it has held up very well to all the wear and tear it gets from our family of seven. I recommend any Cali bamboo flooring.

Cali Bamboo was great to work with. Their sales rep Brenton Ford was really helpful in making sure I had all the information and materials I needed to make a selection. He sent out numerous samples so I could see how they would coordinate with my existing wood doors, furniture and hearth. Brenton was able to help me spread the costs over several days since my credit card does not have a high enough limit to do it in one payment. I ordered the Aged Amber Geo Wood for the whole house (except the bathrooms) and am really happy with it. It has more tonal variation than the sample suggested which makes it look more like regular plank flooring. He kept me informed on when to expect the shipment and even honored my original pricing when I needed to add a bit more when the project was underway. I would highly recommend them and this product.

Your Cali Bamboo Denali Wide Decking Series and matching Railing System was so impressive that I had to use these products on my very own home. The look and the quality of your product, as well as its ease of installation was so impressive that in my office your product line is now my go to first selection.

3 golden retrievers can’t scratch this flooring. Harder than oak and looks like walnut. Clicks in place with ease. Can float or glue. We glued on slab over 2,000 sf. Great quality at a fair price.

The flooring was easy to install, great price and selection and looks fantastic. Our sales rep, Francisco, was very helpful and checked with us later to make sure everything went smoothly.

Compared to the usual pressure treated wood product Cali decking is absolutely superior. It may cost significantly more but the end result is well worth it. No splinters, fraying, bent boards, nail pops, color variations, etc etc. Hidden fastners are just that and are relatively easy to install. Material cuts perfectly making for barely visible butt joints. Will never have to seal or reseal! This was for a 12 x 50 ft deck creekside.

Cali Bamboo has beautiful options and very high quality. My rep, Steve Crane has been very professional and has gotten every question answered quickly. If he didn't know and answer he went to the experts in the company. They sent out samples very quickly and the products were delivered in a very timely manner once the order was placed. One of the best decisions I made when I researched the type of flooring I was interested in for my kitchen remodel, and came across Cali Bamboo. I enjoyed even the story about how these two friends came up with the idea and began their business. Anyway, I thought it’d be a problem getting it since I’m in NY, however, the young man that returned my call, made it possible, quick and efficient. I got my beautiful slabs on time. Everyone loves them! I love them!

Purchased this product in the fall of 2017. Since then I have fought with customer service and warranty people. We installed the deck per instructions by a professional contractor. Now I am told that my expensive high quality patio furniture is the reason that the deck is getting "marred" the pool water is at fault for leaving stains on the deck. The problems are caused by the installation........not enough air flow THE DECK IS FOUR FEET OFF THE GROUND. It is rocked underneath!!! The "fix" is a pen to hide the marks OR I can clean it every time we use is with THEIR cleaners. Who has a composite deck that needs to be scrubbed after every use!!! I cannot go any further until a certified inspector comes to inspect the deck for structural issues.......how do structural issues cause scuffs, water stains etc!!! Of course I have to pay for the inspections!!!! Awful product BAMDECK.............

I tried to get a quote. Waited a long time for a reply only to have the guy tell me they couldn't sell to me and couldn't even give me a quote because I had bought a couple boxes of their flooring from Lowe's before. Guess I shouldn't have mentioned it .......what the heck.

Buyer Beware! Horrible, Horrible , Horrible! I purchased $4,000.00 worth of vinyl flooring and tried to cancel it before it was delivered to my home as my contractor said it would not work for my project. They never told me about a $1500.00 re stocking/shipping fee if I was to cancel. So yes this company screws you if you need to cancel the order. They are all about lining their pockets and not about customer service. From other reviews Have read it appears this company won't be in business long.

I do not recommend that anyone buy Cali Bamboo. Please read the negative reviews on Yelp first! I have a whole floor with "Java" bamboo. The floor is nice, but the transitions didn't match! I sent them back, and they sent a second set, which still didn't match. Come on! When you make the transitions out of the same wood with the same stain, why is it so hard to make them match??? The last I heard from them, they said that had to send a board from my batch back to CHINA (yes, back to CHINA) so they could match the stain. Give me a break! The only reason I didn't give them a 1-star review is because the floor itself is nice. But after these hassles, I wish I had never heard of Cali Bamboo.

Their focus on customer service, their really unique designs, and their offering of things other than flooring have made them an excellent partner for our flooring business. We can't wait to bring on more of their product lines!

This is our third order with Cali Bamboo for fossilized bamboo flooring. We had bamboo flooring installed in the basement and the first floor eight years ago. I did research and was impressed by the hardness of the floors and the air quality testing for VOCs. The floors are in rental units and still look like new. Our last order was for 1600 sf that was installed on the ground floor of a Florida house. As we had expected the floors look great and the upkeep is minimal. We have worked with Christy O'Dell for all three orders. She has been accommodating and knowledgeable. Our window of delivery was very limited and she was able to schedule the delivery to work out perfectly with our schedule. Thank you Christy and Cali Bamboo.

Christa O'Dell has been my POC at Cali Bamboo for two years during which I submitted maybe 6 orders for various projects in a house I purchased for retirement. She has been a delightful person to deal with on everything. She offers expert assistance, finds past orders very quickly, completes new orders fast and accurately, and always provides the details about delivery that have proven to be "spot on".

Working with both Alex and Marissa at Cali Bamboo has been a delightful experience. Alex provided quite a bit of knowledge in placing our order, helping us to choose the correct amount of the ideal bamboo planks and adhesives that would be right for our situation. Unfortunately, one single carton was damaged in shipment and two items never arrived, apparently went missing in shipment. Marissa was very quick to address the problem, called us within two hours and immediately arranged to have a new carton of bamboo planks along with the two molding strips reshipped. We have not yet installed any of our bamboo planks however I'm looking forward to seeing the big change they make to our home. Highly recommend Cali Bamboo.

I bought the Vintage Moonlight bamboo flooring directly from CaliBamboo. Max was very helpful throughout the purchasing process. They told me that I had to let the flooring acclimate for 10-14 days before installing. I recommend at least 30 days. Unpack the boards and stack them with 2-inch spaces in between each piece. After around 30 days is when the headache-inducing smell starts to fade. Installation was pretty straightforward. I did end up buying a transition piece and stair nosing. Both were off-color. Luckily, I ended up speaking with Daralyn. She has to be the nicest customer service representative with whom I've ever dealt. She sent and resent several new pieces, hoping that the color would match. Unfortunately, it didn't. She even went so far as to offer a custom color-matching service. Unfortunately, I did not have the time that would have required. Daralyn was even nice enough to reimburse me for these two pieces and sent me a cleaning and repair kit for free! I cannot speak about the quality of this flooring just yet. I will wait one year to write a follow-up review. I first need to see how this flooring stands up to the four seasons of NYC. What I can say for sure is that because of Daralyn, my customer service experience with CaliBamboo has been exceptional.

It was our first time ordering from Cali. We had quite a few snags in the beginning of our journey with Cali, which were extremely upsetting. Once Kevin was assigned to our case, he immediately contacted us and started to rectify the problem. Within a few hours from the first call, Kevin was able to identify what happened during the ordering process. When we received our flooring, it was damaged during shipment and was the wrong color. Kevin was able to provide us with a pick up date within 2 days to return all of the damaged goods we received. Within a week, our correct color flooring was delivered. No damage and absolutely beautiful. Thanks to Kevin, he was able to turn our negative feelings towards Cali into a positive! Thanks Kevin. Keep up the superior customer service!

We recently had Cali installed and I love it. Everyone at Cali has been so kind and helpful. Even are installer was impressed with their CS staff. I am absolutely in love with our new Cali floors and would highly recommend this product to everyone, but especially to home owners with pets. Easy to take care of . Nails are not scratching the floor and drool doesn't leave a mark. Since installing Cali floors and removing the wall to wall carpeting, our house no longer smells like dogs. LOL We spent 6 months researching wood flooring that would withstand 2 130 pound dogs. Cali was the best choice and I am so pleased .

Love the product! It looks and feels great. The wood came quickly and the customer service was efficient. We had to order more for a hallway that we added on and the wood came promptly. I have the Java bamboo flooring and I do notice that the the dark color surface can get little light scratches even though the wood is the hardest the carpenters have seen. I've been told their is a marker that can touch up those scratches.

Love love love my new Cali wood ash gray vinyl flooring. I ordered it for one on my rental houses and was so happy with the product I just ordered for the second house. My contractor said it was a breeze to work with and installed them in quickly. Customer service was outstanding.

Julian of Cali Bamboo was extremely helpful in selecting my floor all the way from California to me in Washington, D.C. He provided me with four (4) samples at different times in order for me to make the correct selection. I looked for a floor for over six (6) month prior to finding Cali Bamboo on the internet. Do to a water leak and subsequent damage, I had to replace a floor in the kitchen and family room area which runs together. I had a pattern with a dark wood offset in the kitchen area to distinguish between the two areas. Julian not only helped me with the floor that matched my cabinets, but also the dark wood to match to repeat the pattern of the old floor which I had loved for 24 years. Customer service is alive and well at Cali Bamboo. I bought a 12ft diameter Palapa (thatch roof) for my backyard Tiki hut, and once I received it I raised some concerns about appearance and durability with Jack at Cali Bamboo. After reviewing my pictures, he determined the thatched roof I received was not up to their standards, so he is sending me a new roof, at their cost. I spoke to him yesterday, and the new roof should be here on Saturday. If you need any tropical type materials for your backyard project I would highly recommend them. Their prices and service are without a doubt the best. Thanks Jack!!!

Very helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and competent. I called Cali when my local retail store was slow getting back to me and was out of line on pricing. The whole process with Cali was super easy. Cali worked out excellent pricing with my flooring contractor, delivery was prompt and the floor is going down nicely. I'm getting the stairs done too and will post photos when it's done. But beware, those boxes are really heavy!

The best product available. Wears well and looks great. We have had it installed for over two years. It has been tested by an exhuberant puppy and a contractor husband and it is perfect. We received our order on time and found only one board with one small scratch in all 600 square feet. Good service, reasonalble price and a beautiful product.

I purchased bamboo flooring from this company for both my living room and master bedroom. The service from this company is excellent they received my plans and was able to provide me with an estimate within 24 hours. The quality of their flooring is also of a high standard.

We ordered the Rustic Beachwood for our kitchen and great room. It is beautiful and in progress now. I will attach photos after the project is complete. We also ordered the charcoal Bamdeck for the hot tub deck. I was especially impressed with Cali Bamboos customer service and follow through. This review is for full season climates. I live in Colorado Springs, we get seasonal temperature swings for 15-100F degrees, and our humidity is low on average. I did my research and scanned reviews from many sources. What I found was this amazing product, that was nearly impervious AND IT HAS BEEN (truly rock solid even with dogs). BUT even after letting the floors rest inside my house for 6 weeks (2 weeks longer then advised) before installing it, I experianced the floor separating in multiple areas only 3-4 months after install. I had 3 different areas that separated each moving nearly .5" apart. The areas that separated were smaller then 12' which is the max distance you should use before adding a divider. So I did some more research and watched professionals explain ways to correct my problems, and using my remaining boards From the initial job I fixed my flooring. This time I was sure that it would hold together, a year later I found separation again. So after ensuring that it wasn't user error I strongly strongly recommend that you do now attempt to install Bamboo flooring in a climate that does not resemble California or at least the humidity doesn't fluctuate. I waited 4 years to write this review to ensure I wasn't projecting false info or had poor installation. If someone tells you DO NOT install bamboo in Colorado listen, I didn't and I'm horribly unstatsfied because of it.

I wanted to redo my living room and family room floors due to worn out carpeting, but quickly decided to redo the entire 1st floor of my house with hardwood (~1000 sq ft). After looking at a bunch of samples and researching online, I realized not only did Cali Bamboo have a great selection of colors, but their product, no matter the color was some of the toughest on the market. Ordering was easy, after receiving some free samples in the mail from Cali, I decided to go with the 5" Natural fossilized for the living room, kitchen, and hallways, but the slightly darker mocha fossilized 5" click in the dining room. The Cali Complete underlayment was all I needed (plywood subfloors) and fit easily together with the machined dovetail edges. With the help of my father, the two of use completely redid the floor (removed molding, carpet, and vinyl flooring then laying wide-click planks in 5 days time (spanned over 2 weekends and evening progress). Time in-between weekend work was necessary for me in order to properly acclimate boards to room humidity (extra floor space was tight since the house was already furnished). This was my first DIY home project and all things considered I think it went rather smooth thanks to the click floating floor product Cali Bamboo offers. I have received many compliments on my floor and could not be happier with how it looks. After having my new floor in place for a little over a month now, I haven't tested its durability too much, but I did drop a case of wine bottles that miraculously did not break OR scratch the floor. I did over-estimate the amount of boxes I would need so I sent back a couple to get a refund...the return process was pretty hassle-free besides having to buy tie down straps to secure the boxes to the pallet they were originally shipped on.

First of all This is the best bamboo flooring product available in the market in terms of (health, safety and durability indexes) I was lucky to get Francisco Siva as the sales specialist when I contacted Cali Bamboo directly. He listened to my needs, offered good deal (much better than local authorized shop) and shipped on time. They all arrived in moisture proof packaging and no defective floorings. I am very pleased with the product and outcome. My floor looks great.

We ordered Java Fossilized® Hybrid™ engineered wood flooring (2400 sf) and installed per specification in two rooms. After about two weeks we noticed extensive "checking" or linear cracks along the grain in the finish. We contacted Cali Customer Service and a lovely person named Lauren took up our cause. First, she had us send an unopened and opened box of the flooring. Both boxes showed evidence of checking, In fact, the entire floor in both rooms showed the same deficiency. Cali is still investigating the problem with the manufacturer and considers the problem to be a manufacturing defect...but that's not the good news. Working with Lauren, Cali Bamboo agreed to replace the entire shipment with new flooring. I was a little skeptical of the engineered product, so we went with solid bamboo. They replaced the lot. The company would have also paid to have someone remove the existing flooring and haul away the defective flooring still in boxes. We were able to donate the unused flooring to a local home-building effort where the floors will be quite serviceable. So, we recently received a shipment of brand-new replacement flooring and are excited to install it. It looks amazing and shows no signs of checking. Thank you Cali Bamboo and Lauren. You certainly did the right thing by this customer!

We created a deck with their 3g Bamdeck. Our contractor has a lot of experience with composite decking and followed the Cali Bamboo recommended spacing and fasteners. After two years the decking is CRACKING!!! This is on flat boards with no screw holes, and boards with screw fasteners. This decking is falling apart after only two years. Cali Bamboo Support is TERRIBLE!!! They do not respond to emails and have no resolution. What good is a warranty when you cant use it. Delivery was a nightmare. They delivered half the product with a slightly different color/contrast. Because the use a third party storage and shipment facility they do not have control of what is shipped. Had to return half the order and have another order shipped. A year later i was put into collections by UPS saying i did not pay for the second shipment! The entire situation is bad with this company.

Cali Bamboo is amazing. Their customer service was helpful not only at the sale, but during installation as well as post installation when we had a pipe burst in the commercial building my business is located in. They offered so much assistance and stayed with us for many phone calls and questions. I highly recommend Cali Bamboo for anyone looking for a high quality, beautiful flooring product.

Great product, great customer service, easy to install, looks great! Easy to maintain. When damaged items were found in boxes, they replace!

The decking itself looks great and feels good to walk on. I worked with Alex ( I think) in Sales and he made every effort to get me what I wanted at the best price. When I wasn't crazy for the fastening system (I found something that worked better hence the 4 stars), Sabrina made the return super-easy. Consider using the Camo deck tool instead of the tiger claw fasteners. Camo is easier, with more even gaps. And in the future you can remove any damaged boards from the middle of the run without removing all those around it, or having to cut out and then face nail. I'm a former engineer and I'm super picky about materials and demanding that they be thoughtfully engineered. Calibamboo was.

We love our new floors! The color is beautiful and the quality is great. I've noticed such a difference in the sound from using your underlayment too! Coming from laminate floors, having the engineered bamboo is such a treat!

Cali Bamboo products are great and very eco friendly. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The delivery is fast and the corrected a small error quickly.
