We cannot be more pleased and impressed with the team at Carmel Homes. The principal, Jaime and our project manager Brian were responsive, creative and demonstrated daily their commitment to providing a remodel that exceeded our expectations. They were tremendously flexible as our concepts for our home evolved over the duration of the project. They engaged skilled craftsmen that displayed their same commitment to excellence. From a practical viewpoint, Jaime and Brian insured that subcontractors met the project schedule, were on time and understood exactly what needed to be completed. Jaime and/or Brian were present at our home everyday to check on progress and monitor the work. The scope of our project was extensive as we completely reimagined the entire interior of our home. Some of the highlights included a new kitchen, new bathrooms ( including an owner’s suite bath that was taken down to the studs). They worked out a great way to install a large, onyx slab with LED backlighting over the fireplace. Our favorite project was changing a small back patio into a more than 800 sq ft outdoor living room and dining area. It includes 12 ft ceilings with recessed heating elements, fans and skylights and four large 10 ft tall sliding glass panels to connect the interior of our home with the outdoor living area. We highly recommend that you extend Jaime and his team at Carmel Homes every consideration to navigate your project.

Can’t say enough about these guys. Great ideas, excellent subs and on time/budget. I did an addition and it looks seamless you would have to be a professional to see where it is. Again they have subs they have worked with for 20 years can’t stress how important that is.

I have worked with Carmel Home Design and Jamie Vaughn on a number of occasions. Jamie is a highly respected professional I have seen his results building million dollar homes and on $100,000 renovations. He approaches every job as though he were building for himself.
