Clare is terrific to work with! While I was hesitant how the remote design process would unfold, I found Clare to be thoughtful, exacting and diligent. She is a master space planner and her design suggestions are creative and functional. We have completed most of the main areas in my home and are currently working on a den and office. I highly recommend.

She has made my home so much better I love the choices she makes while keeping items that you really want in the room, and adding more updated pieces.. The changes she has made it my home is way beyond my expectations.. I never imagined my house could feel so much better and more functional , more updated and less crowded. My project started as one room and we have now done 3 more rooms and I’m sure i will keep using Clare with the other rooms that need updating.. A day or two ago you asked me how I like the process. I like it very much. Over the years I have spent numerous attempts and dollars trying to achieve this. I am astounded at your ability to approach changes along with any things the customer needs to face from such positive angles. An example of this is how you brought up the organization and elimination of so much stuff in my space. Your kindness is evident when you tell me lack of organization is a very common problem, you will help me with it, and even ask whether I would like help step by step or all in one lump. Your excellence, thoroughness and speed demonstrate your passion. But what's really cool is you let me share in on your passion and it becomes ours. Your design software worked well for selecting a table color. After you showed me all three in my space I found I like the grey-green best. Thank you for showing me the differences. I love this process. It's just like someone came with a truck and brought all 3 tables for me to try. Things ARE really coming together like you say. I feel like it's all downhill on my bike now and I just have to coast until I turn into my driveway. I know there is busy work ahead putting deliveries in place. Thanks to your knowledge I can trust things aren't going to clash or not fit. I already see it in its completion and it's magnificent. Just what I hoped for all these years only so much much more. My hat is off to you.

I wish I had found Clare three years ago when we started doing our house renovations! What I couldn't seem to accomplish in three years, she accomplished in about a month! If I had her help from the beginning I would have saved COUNTLESS hours of internet searching, buying/trying/returning, and second guessing. She was able to take my living room (a jumbled mix of styles) and turn it into "a fresh, modern, space with a casual, light, "worlds-away" feel." Those were her words to me in my final design rationale which is exactly what I wanted but couldn't seem to figure out on my own. Clare is one of a kind in that she encompasses the same passion and eagerness about a project that her clients feel. She is extremely articulate in her reasoning behind every new positioning of an existing couch/rug/table as well as the new items she thinks would look best in your space. Clare is kind, thoughtful, smart, and incredibly knowledgeable about all things design including certain trends that may soon be gone and those that are there to stay. She will leave no stone unturned in order to create a room that her client will love. I have a large sectional that I had to keep and she showed me multiple ways to position it (including taking out a few pieces) until we found the perfect one. I have referred her to my family and friends and am now working with her on another project. She is thoughtful, creative, timely, respectful, patient, passionate about her work, reasonably priced, but best of all, she makes her clients feel that they are #1. I cannot say enough good things about Clare. If you are at all second guessing yourself on designing a room or choosing products or need help figuring out the style you want your space to have...do not hesitate to contact Clare. She will take all of the guesswork away and in the end will hand you a room or space that you never thought was possible along with all the hours you saved by working with her. And, btw, I found her b/c she commented on a question I posted on Houzz. I was so impressed by her answer and the small tweaks she told me to make on my room (which I never would have thought of but were spot on) that I knew I had to work with her in order to get this room over the finish line. I RECOMMEND CLARE 110%!!!

Clare was AMAZING. She whipped up an amazing design quickly and included elements that captured the energy I wanted in my space. She's definitely become my go-to designer for anything else I need. If you're considering hiring Clare, you can't go wrong here :)

We hired Clare at cdr design to help us design a home theatre in our house. She did an absolutely exceptional job! She was very patient with us as we worked through all of the decisions in regard to furniture, colors, etc. The room looks fantastic, we constantly get comments from our friends and family on how great it looks. I definitely recommend using her services-it was well worth the money!

I have received enormous help from CDR Design in many rooms of my home as well as when working with my daughter in her home. This help has ranged for choosing single items with valuable suggestions of specific items from specific stores, complete room makeovers, paint color selections, furniture arrangement and choices, and decluttering. CDR Design has also helped me with light fixture scale and selections. She presents her suggestions in a very organized, prioritized and understandable way. She's delightful to work with and my home has been beautifully transformed as a result of her help.

I have worked with Clare on two projects - a complete overhaul of our living room, and a smaller project in our kitchen. During both of these, she was thoughtful, patient, and encouraged me to think a little bigger in order to create rooms that I love (not just rooms that will do for a while). I have learned a lot from her; I now know more about my style and how to create coherent rooms. She even gave me some tips on adjoining rooms so they'll flow better with our new space. I also appreciate that she allowed us to move at our own pace during the projects. We have gotten lots of compliments, and I'm confident that we'll be asking for her help in other rooms in the future.

What can I say about Clare. She gave me advice on my bedroom, and wow, I absolutely love it! I found her patient, understanding on what could/could not change, and flexible within it. My "dark cave" was transformed into a beautiful space. She convinced me to go creams with grey, but introduced textures, lighting and reflective surfaces, which gives the room light and a luxurious feel. And kept within a budget I could afford.
