Garrett, Lance, Dustin and the rest of the Tall Pines team are professional, honest, hard working and highly communicative. Our project was delivered on-time and on-budget with smiles and hugs along the way! Every challenge that we faced was quickly identified and presented with healthy solutions. In addition to the strength of the Tall Pines crew, we appreciated the cast of sub-contractors that put all the puzzle pieces together. Tall Pines construction (Garrett Strong) is very experienced at building high quality, high end custom homes. Their repertoire and breadth of experience is broad. They did a wonderful job on our complete gut remodel. But it’s Garrett’s character that will make you want to work with them. Home building is not for the faint of heart and inevitably there will be bumps in the road. You want someone on your side who is honest, trustworthy, hardworking and looking out for your best interest. We have met with and worked with contractors who weren’t like that and it’s very stressful, obviously. Even 4 years later, Garrett still answers my questions about the house (paint colors, materials, etc) as if we are part of the Tall Pines family for life. :)

We worked with Tall Pines Construction on a significant addition to our home and extensive landscaping project. The first thing that we would share is: We would be happy to work with this wonderful group of people again. Tall Pines managed our project with attention to detail and respect for a timely completion. We lived out of state during much of this project, and we received updates via email and text regularly. Our questions were answered immediately. While we worked with an architect on the plan for our addition, Tall Pines and their subs made many excellent suggestions for enhancing the original plan. Any challenges they encountered were brought to us immediately with a proposed solution. Tall Pines and their subcontractors made every attempt to keep the surroundings tidy, which was important in a mature neighborhood. As the general contractor, Tall Pines managed the quality of the work so that was done to our standard of quality, and they addressed any concerns quickly. They billed us with excellent detail/backup on each invoice. The job they completed was really beautiful addition and ouTdoor space. It is working well for our lifestyle and needs. And it is timeless. We can honestly say that we miss working with Garrett, Lance and the rest of the team. We are grateful to have worked this company.

I have been LOVING and living in my Park City, UT custom home for 4 years, built with integrity by Tall Pines Construction. Whenever I meet someone who is planning on remodeling or building a house , I enthusiastically recommend my contractor. How often do you find that scenario? I interviewed at least 4 contractors and 4 architects before I made my selection. It was wonderful that they had worked together on several homes before mine. Tall Pines construction built my dream home with my 4 goals in mind: sustainable, low maintenance, made in American/recycled/upcycled material, and budget friendly. I can never move because I will NEVER find a home like this again!

Garrett and his team are absolutely fantastic. My wife and I hired Tall Pines to construct our custom designed retirement/vacation home. It was a complex, modern design with oversized windows, stone columns, storey pole siding, unique ceilings throughout, level 5 drywall finish, and much more. Garrett's close relationship with the various trades was apparent throughout the 18 month build and subsequent "punch list" type items. He was constantly in touch with us throughout the process, meeting frequently to discuss "next-phase" decisions, review progress and update us on the budget. This was particularly important as we lived in Michigan during the Park City, Utah build with only occasional visits. Ultimately, his guidance guaranteed that the project maintained a good cadence and pace. He connected us with a designer who he works closely with as well and Christa Pirl was also excellent and the two of them worked seamlessly together for a fun, exciting and pleasant building experience. Garrett is straightforward, honest and thoughtful which made working through the myriad of cost/benefit decisions and the inevitable "surprises" that come with large projects as conflict and stress free as possible. Garrett's cost estimates were highly accurate given the desired quality level throughout, such that for the vast majority of materials, appliances, lighting, and hardware, we had a wide array of options without the need for constant up charge conversations. Tall Pine's commitment to making sure we were 100% satisfied with our new home has been readily apparent during the post construction "punch list" process that despite lockdowns and the "Year of Covid" were completed. In summary, Garrett cares. He cares about his clients, his team, his contractors, and the home.

Tall Pines built our forever home, our primary residence, in Park City UT during 2019 and 2020. We love the house every day, and we are super grateful to have been able to work with such a quality and caring builder. We had a great working relationship, with solid communication during the project. The house was finished within the projected time frame, and we were close enough on the budget. It was a team effort and we wanted to be fairly involved in many aspects of the project - and Tall Pines was welcoming and accommodating to our involvement. Building a house can be stressful at times, but we had fun along the way, knowing that we were in good hands with the entire Tall Pines crew. It starts at the top with Garrett - his experience, creativity and mannerism set the positive tone right from day one. Lance was our project manager - this is who you want being hands-on with your job - with his expertise and passion. And then all the other subs and related people involved - whenever we had any interaction with them, they all seemed professional and hard-working on their craft. Obviously Tall Pines has cultivated good relationships with these people. Finally, they have a good relationship with the City and worked well with our architect - all of which was pretty important in bringing our plans to life, and getting everything built and approved along the way. And once the main project is done, they don't disappear. We've been in touch since the project was finished, and they've been very attentive to addressing any issues (nothing major) that have arisen since project completion. Overall, incredible experience, and we certainly give Garrett, Lance and their people a lot of credit for that. Eternal thanks!
