Charisma, the design experience

We had heard good things about Charisma but had not seen any examples of their finished product in person before taking on a whole home renovation with them. Kim and Brennen amazed us with the quality of their design and the level of detail incorporated throughout. They stretched our imagination with a few of the proposed features, and we are very glad that we trusted their vision, as what looked good on paper now looks outstanding in person. The whole house has a new flow and energy to it, and the subtle integration of a few themes ties everything together in a way that we never had before. As an added bonus, Kim and Brennen made the process with our builder smooth and seamless. There were minimal adaptations required post-design, but when minor things arose they plugged in directly with the builder and made everything effortless for us. Kim and Brennen are a pleasure to work with and have innovative design ideas that create a unique outcome. We highly recommend them, and look forward to working with them again on our next design project.

We were very happy with Charisma. They helped us achieve the renovation we wanted for our bathrooms. Our bathrooms look amazing!!! We get compliments all the time. The tile guy they chose for us did a phenomenal job on the tile work. We would recommend them to others.

Kim and Brennen from "Charisma - The Design Experience", have been wonderful to work with the past few years. We've accomplished a lot of beautiful renovations around our house since first hiring them in 2014. Projects included complete renovations of the upstairs bathroom (2014), main floor bathroom (2015), living and dining rooms (2016), main floor office (2018) and partial renovations to the upstairs master and spare bedrooms (2018). Additional assistance was also provided by Charisma in helping us to find new windows for the house in 2018. During these many projects, Brennen was our liaison for the contractors and the sole person we relied on to discuss matters with on a daily basis. Through the good times and the more challenging ones, he maintained an exceptionally high standard of professionalism and always communicated to us any budget or deadline issues with the projects. He was quick to reply to any concerns we had and would always try make sure the work being done was of the highest standard. Even though we may not have initially known "the look" we were trying to achieve for every room, Brennen/Kim always blew us away with their design selections. Their ideas have transformed our house to the modern beauty that it is today. We're so happy to have chosen Charisma.

We started with a blank sheet, only the walls were in place of our new condo. We had a vision of of the style we wanted and Kim fashioned it into a design reality quickly. Once we had the concept clearly defined, we had to incorporate all of the practical things necessary to make it livable, including shelving and storage spaces. Time was a factor and Kim assisted us by keeping our choices on options to a workable number. She was patient and would answer our questions honestly when trying to analyze the choices. The end result is a home that is very functional and has the look we were hoping to achieve. We couldn't be more pleased! Kim and Brennan helped us through the whole process and any questions or additional items that came up after we moved into our home.

Extensive renovations to our 3200 sq ft home were planned and completed perfectly and timely while we were on an extended vacation. Charisma, the design experience, is second to no one, they provided us with many exciting choices, always keeping in mind our preferences and special needs with furniture and materials (we have 2 dogs). We have compete trust in this well run local company and have never been disappointed in the many projects that they undertaken in our home and business.

We were looking to remodel our kitchen, dining and living room, but had no idea where to start. Kim from Charisma, the design experience visited our home and was able to guide us through the process. Once the work started, Brennen was on hand to deal with all the contractors, scheduling and orders. The contractors used were professional, knowledgeable and tidy. Charisma, the design experience made our renovation an Advil and Tum free experience. We would highly recommend Charisma, the design experience, they were a pleasure to deal with. Our experience with Charisma was positive in all aspects. From the design stage through project management, each stage was thoroughly planned and scheduled out to result in a stunning rebuild of our previous bath space to now accommodate a bright spa for two. Kim and Brennan are professionals and bring proven experience to any project. We are anxious to work with Charisma again!

Kim & Brennen designed and delivered a kitchen beyond our dreams. Beyond beautiful, it functions perfectly with a place for everything. The custom lighting bulkhead really defines the space and we couldn't be happier with the custom appliance garages that let's us hide our 4 small appliances to keep the counter clear of clutter. They found us skilled trades to do the work and managed the whole project so we didn't have to deal with any issues ourselves. Having someone manage the work who cares about the integrity of the design is a plus in our minds. We can't wait to work with Charisma again on our next big renovation!

Kim helped us redesign our master bedroom. It is now my favourite room in the house. She listened to what we wanted to accomplish and created a design that brought the dream to life! We would highly recommend Charisma!!

We worked with Charisma on a kitchen/great room reno. They had great design ideas, were easy to work with and had good contacts for contractors. They provided support to our contractor throughout the project on any design questions or issues that occurred. The one caution is that the estimate from the contractors after submitting the design was almost double our budget.

Having had the privilege of viewing many of her projects, it was obvious that her work took on a creative, unique and personal slant. Over the past 15 years, Kim has been involved in designing, decorating and renovating our three homes and our office buildings. Kim has a very professional manner and the expertise she brings to the table are invaluable to both clients and contractors alike. Kim has worked diligently in the design industry for many years and has always kept well on top of current and upcoming design trends. And while many design trends do come and go, we have always found that Kim has a way of creating designs which are timeless, which is a rare and unique gift. The design and spacial expertise that Kim has provided for us over the last 30 years has not only added to the value of what we do, but it has also helped to continually raise the bar for the interior design industry as a whole.
