Charisma, the design experience

By knocking down the wall between the kitchen and the living/dining area, we rezoned the space and made a larger kitchen which is open to the new larger living room and dining area. The dropped ceiling houses the structural beam but becomes a design feature with the stepped detail and the contrasting paint colour. The raised tile pedestal at the end of the island provides a visual barrier between the potential mess at the kitchen sink and the living area.
