Our experience with Yossi, Solomon and the entire team was a truly remarkable experience and a blessing at a time when we had no idea how to tackle a very difficult situation. We bought a home and had to unexpectedly do a complete restoration due to extensive termite damage, wood rot, and other hidden issues. Yossi and team had to pick up where another team left off, redo work and complete the rest of the home. It was no small feat, and the circumstances were not ideal. The project management, communication, honest conversations, and workmanship exceeded expectations and gave us the comfort we needed during a challenging time. Chellyanna is also a very honest company - they file the appropriate permits and follow the city rules and regulations which is not always the norm. Given the large scope of work and cost, there were a lot of details involved and Yossi, Solomon and team handled our concerns and requests with grace and understanding. We can't recommend Chellyanna enough. If you are looking for an upstanding, knowledgeable, skilled, and attentive team, definitely put this team on your list. We are forever grateful. (For scope reference: reframed exterior walls, large window and sliding door installation, installed ZIP siding/insulation/drywall/Hardie Board around most of the exterior of the home, redid bathrooms with tub and shower install/floor and shower tilework/vanity installs/plumbing, built kitchen island w/butcher block top, re-installed kitchen cabinets and granite countertops, installed tile throughout the entire home, painted entire interior and exterior of home, and more.)

My husband and I feel so happy to have found Chellyanna for our project and would highly recommend them. Yossi was incredibly efficient, professional and organized in every stage of the process, including getting us a quote and getting started, which was an added bonus. They are also really communicative and quick to respond or address any problems or changes that might come up, including adapting things as we went along. Everything was done with quality to our exact specifications, and if we had any questions or hesitations about how things looked, they were fixed or addressed right away. I only wish I had known more about design and construction going into the process so that I could better anticipate choices I would need to make. In terms of budget Yossi is fair and honest- he is transparent and clear about everything, there were no surprises, and the initial negotiation and value to price ratio felt really reasonable. We had a huge project with a lot of details and decisions that can be stressful but I'm so grateful we worked with Chellyanna. It took shape so quickly and they were reliable and responsive from start to finish.

We recently completed a large project with Chellyanna contractors (bathrooms, bedrooms, home office, garage updates) and couldn't be more pleased with the results! Our project was completed on time, on budget, and with a high degree of professionalism. Some highlights to note if you're considering starting a project with Chellyanna: (a) We really appreciated the creativity Yossi and team brought to the project. We had very specific requirements for certain things, and for others we had just some high-level ideas. Yossi listened to all of our thoughts and was able to produce a design that exceeded our expectations; (b) Detailed plans and costs were provided before the project started and the team was very careful to stick to the agreed budget. Any overages were discussed ahead of time (e.g. if we chose a fixture that was outside of the allotted budget it was clearly communicated). While there were some overages, we were able to clearly identify what they were for and that they were explicitly approved; (c) There was constant communication. We got regular updates and were kept informed on status throughout the project. All emails/texts/phone calls were returned very promptly - it felt almost instantaneous!; (d) As with any large project, there were some challenges along the way where it was difficult to implement things we wanted. But the team was up to any challenge! They kept trying different and increasingly creative solutions to make sure the end result worked exactly as we needed it to; (e) Even after the project was handed off, the responsiveness was just as quick. There were some minor items we noticed only after we moved in, and even some items that were completely out of scope of the project that we wished had been part of the original plan. The team responded to every request within a day and had the issues fixed usually within a couple of days; (f) Most importantly, we love the final product and we are thoroughly enjoying the beautiful renovations!

If I built a house again, I would hire Yossi and Chellyanna Custom Homes! Yossi and the crew finished on time and on budget, plus he was honest and kind. I did a complete teardown and built my dream home, which was a stressful experience, but I have nothing but positive things to share with whoever will listen. My neighbors complimented them; they were respectful and kept the job site clean. If you are doing a remodel, a rebuild, or an addition, try Chellyanna Construction; you won't be disappointed.

As an engineer, I've dealt with a lot of building contractors for decades. Chellyanna's professionalism, honesty, quality, focus, fair price and unparalleled communications places Chellyanna at the top of every builders list, bar none. We needed an ADA space for a relative who could no longer navigate our home. We had a plan based on a neighbor's just-completed ADA cottage that we used. Chellyanna used that plan as a base line, provided honest feedback and we made modifications. We went back and forth on the contract and came to an agreement. In just under 4 months the 1200 sq ft cottage was completed. Looking back, here are the key points: Chellyanna was *very customer focused*, keeping the originally schedule, and working in our changes during the build. Their build quality, from the foundation to the finishing of the woodwork and walls was excellent. We were also impressed with the critical eye the owner showed in "getting it right". Note he caught most of the items on the punch. Chellyanna is honest. *Everything* they told us, was true. When they told us their guys would be there at 8 AM, they were. They communicated very well. We knew on a day by day basis what they were working on, what was coming up next, and any coordination that was needed. Their pricing was very competitive, particularly looking back, noting: Chellyanna took all the risks for material pricing, dealing with unreliable inspectors, delays and weather. There were NO financial surprises. (We looked back at other bids and realize they would have cost us more ($'s & headaches) in the long run.) Chellyanna was very flexible with changes, not charging for minor tweaks The schedule: 4 months. Ground was broken Feb 17, handover was June 11, ahead of schedule. Intermediate milestones were also met, typically~ 1-2 weeks apart which helped us plan around the constructions. The punch list: Chellyanna has a unique and very easy method to identify issues for the punch list (corrective actions list). There weren't many items on the list, but items typically were on the punchlist for 1-2 days. Their site manager found many of them. Politeness: We were very surprised at how polite all of the Chellyanna workers were, considerate of the invasiveness of their being inside of our home. Total costs: We requested 3 bids from Angi (14 contractors showed up. Really). Most bids were a little less than Chellyanna's. BUT all of those made us assume risks and $'s due to weather delays, subcontractor costs, material overun's, any loss or material shrinkage, code changes and anything else they could think of. Construction overruns are a fact. With Chellyanna, we paid what was contracted for and nothing more. Their assumption of risks and execution to plan made this addition a very pleasant experience. Summary: Seriously consider Chellyanna for your project. They are a very honest and high quality builder. Note: I received/expect nothing for writing this review.

What an amazing experience I had! I recommend Chellyanna to all my friends looking for a remodel or addition. Two things stood out which I think made Chellyanna stand out from the other contractors I have dealt with: 1) Timeliness- We showed Yossi around the house before we closed on our new home. The day after we closed they already started demo and never looked back. The stream of skilled workers never stopped coming until the project was done. Drywall, painting, plumbing, electric etc. were all done without delay. 2) Responsiveness - Yossi was always available to answer a call, tweak the project or answer our questions. We always felt that we had someone we could turn to and the entire process was extremely transparent. You will not be disappointed!

I was looking for a General Contractor to add on and restore our old bathroom, to our current home. Chellyanna’s online gallery stood out from the rest. His renovations or rebuilds looked so clean and modern. Just what I was looking for! From the first day I met Yossi, the owner of Chellyanna I knew we would be a good fit. He was on time, straight to the point and answered all my questions. I did not have to worry. And if there was an issue, he corrected it right away. His prices are good and fair for today’s economy. I love my new Master bedroom and bathroom! Rachel, my interior designer was the sweetest. She helped me create my vision for a peaceful space. My children have brand new rooms that they can call their own. I would recommend Chellyanna Contractors to anyone. I had not a clue about renovating they made the process easy and non stressful.
