Lauren and Kyle have been beyond helpful and knowledgeable in taking me from a few ideas to a gorgeous dream beach house. The attention to care and detail they have is only rivaled by their creativity. As my house was being built, the builders marveled at the thoroughness of Lauren’s plans and I was constantly blown away by lovely details and beautiful design at every scale. I highly recommend them and also that you should hire them on to work with you through the build. I feel so lucky that I found them.

We worked with Kyle to design our new home in Hawaii. He was fantastic at translating our hopes, needs, and budget into a design that brings us joy every day. He guided us well through our choices, helped keep us on track when our eyes got bigger than our budget, and patiently and expertly navigated an excruciating permitting process and complex zoning regulations. He is attentive, straightforward, and has an exacting eye for detail. We couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Lauren and Kyle are the powerhouse duo that you want to have working on your project from conception, visualization to final actualization. Our project was a bit complex and very challenging in regards to the permitting and design process. Lauren and Kyle turned what would’ve been a stressful and daunting experience into something that was both enjoyable and educational. They were with us every step of the way. They were very easy to work with and very, very knowledgeable. Excellent communication, always checking in with you and keeping you up to date. What blew me away were the design tools that they used and their attention to detail. They used drones to confirm the maximum utilization of the perfect view. They would also include calculations of the sun’s movement throughout the year to calculate the best placement of windows and solar panels for maximum efficient natural lighting. They also utilize 3D computer models throughout the design process to illustrate many things, ranging from the maximum height of neighboring houses to renderings of the design as it progresses. I don’t think that you would be able to find another architect duo that can do what they do. To find that magical balance between a clients wants vs sensible design vs realistic build. If you’re looking to build that dream house of yours. If you’re looking to turn a house that you have into something you love. Look no further. This is your stop. I highly, highly recommend them.

From start to finish the Zerbeys were incredible to work with. They took my rough ideas and molded them into a beautiful home. Their aesthetic choices and attention to details will make my new house special for decades to come. If I ever have another project, I would definitely use them again.

Studio Zerbey designed the kitchen remodel on our 1939 house in Maple Leaf, Seattle. They designed a kitchen that meets our practical needs as a family of four, but is also modern and looks beautiful. Our remodel was completed three years ago, and there's nothing I would change about it. Our friends regularly compliment the kitchen design, and we've referred friends to Studio Zerbey many times. Besides a great outcome, they were great to work with. It was an absolute pleasure working with Lauren for our home addition. She is professional yet warm and personal. She had really great ideas during our initial consultation and knew her stuff around the ever changing laws and permits for the city of Seattle. She was able to think outside of the box to come up with a creative design that we just loved that also fit within the restraints of our small lot size. She also worked seamlessly with our construction crew. We would work with Studio Zerbey again in a heart beat, and would recommend them to our friends and family.

The Zerbey's were wonderful to work with- We worked with them on a "down to the studs" kitchen remodel. They listened to our needs and ideas and seamlessly incorporated into the design while coming up the ideas we could not. By re-positioning doors and windows and re-configuring the layout without adding square footage the existing space was drastically transformed into a beautiful and functional space. They were responsive and professional, yet relaxed enough to understand life with children and how to make a remodel happen with a 4 year old in the picture. We would highly recommend them to anyone and hope to work with them again on the next phase of our house remodel.

Studio Zerbey designed and performed construction administration on our new residence that completed in 2018. It is viewable on their website as Kingston Beach House. I literally cannot imagine a better architect experience than what they gave us. They were transparent and cost-conscious, meticulous, knowledgeable, and totally accessible at all stages of the project. The photos speak for themselves!

We've recently completed a new home designed by Studio Zerbey in the Suncadia resort in Roslyn/Cle Elum, WA. We had a terrific experience working with the Zerbeys from start to finish. We appreciated their design approach, thoroughness and attention to detail, respect for our budget and their ability to support and advise us throughout each phase of the project. We will be forever grateful to Studio Zerbey Architects who helped us plan and design our whole house remodel. What started out as a vague idea to improve our house became a solid project that turned out more amazing than we could have imagined. As we were new to the remodeling process, Kyle and Lauren listened to what we wanted and developed several creative and fun plans based on our family's needs and style preferences. Doing a project this large is not easy, but I especially valued their professional advice on helping us navigate the many decisions involved.
