My wife and I highly recommend Kendall and his team. From the design stage to the finished product, Kendall surpassed our expectations. He is professional, creative and timely. His installers are excellent, with keen attention to detail. Kendall designed two beautiful rustic walnut pieces for our home: a cabinet for our living room with floating shelves above, and a highly functional work station for our office. We are thrilled that we chose Tree City Woodworking!

I had them build a custom wall unit/ shelving unit for a small wall. I am thrilled with the outcome. It's a beautiful piece of custom furniture and was made to my specifications based on a photo. They did a great job. I would ( and have already) recommended them to friends .

SO thrilled with all the amazing work Kendall and his team did on our new home. We LOVE every single cabinet they built and installed, and all the details. The team is awesome, especially Kendall and his patience/indulgence as we went through several phases and versions. And, hats off to Anthony and Grayson who installed and came back several times to make sure every single thing was beautiful - not to mention the skilled crew who built them in the first place. Tree City Woodworking did the cabinets in our new home and then came back to do some additional cabinetry and other carpentry jobs for us. Kendall was responsive and helpful in planning the job. He and the men who did the work stuck to the agreed schedule and their work was professional and excellent.. We would be happy to work with them again and have referred our daughter to them for some work in her house.

We have had Kendall and Tree City do several projects for us, and we have been extremely pleased with all of them. In each case, he worked closely with us to understand exactly what we wanted, and then his team delivered the completed project ahead of our expected schedule. For those projects which were intended to be built-in and appear that they were original parts of the house, his team spent all the time and effort necessary to accomplish those goals. We have received excellent value for the cost and look forward to working with Tree City again in the future!

Kendall and his team at Tree City Woodworking created two pieces of custom furniture, a desk and bookcase, for the office in our home. My husband and I are delighted with the finished product as well as the process of working with Tree City from the first concept review meeting with the interior designer who introduced us to Kendall through delivery of the just perfect pieces. Not only are the construction details perfect, the finish work is superb too and work was completed in budget and on time. Kendall is an experienced and talented craftsman who has a great team working with him and he runs the business with integrity to result in quality product and commitment dates both met. Our high expectations were exceeded. We were introduced to Kendall by the interior designer working on making our new house a home and it was she, Angela Incelli of Les Bois Interior Design who is simply fantastic in the work she does, who developed the design concepts for the furniture. She set up a meeting for us with Kendall and it was clear he and she had a working relationship of respect and trust as she asked for and he offered his input on the design, wood species and finishes. Kendall is excellent working in collaboration, as is Angela, and they had follow up meetings, some including us, to finalize details. At one of of the meetings Kendall too the extra step to make a to-scale cardboard mock up of one of the pieces for final decision making to be sure I was comfortable on a dimension where I was uncertain. Sometimes it is helpful to know something about the reviewer, so I'll share that for context in closing this review. This is our fourth high end custom home in the last 23 years, the first in Idaho, and we have worked with great cabinet makers in other venues so we know what a difference it makes. Our regret is that as new residents of Eagle eighteen months ago when we started working with a local custom builder that we didn't know enough about Kendall's business to ask the builder to use Tree City for cabinet work. The cabinet maker our builder insisted on using had many quality control problems in both construction and finish which the owner and builder chalk up to being "too busy". Over a year after move in (and a cabinet bill of $75K which we were not "too busy" to pay) my husband is still working with the builder's chosen cabinet maker on steps to have the defects resolved. I share the above about my husband's and my experience so that it might be helpful if you are looking for a custom cabinet maker. Given our experience of working with Kendall on custom furniture, in Tree City we have complete confidence if you are looking for custom cabinet work or case goods furniture that Kendall has ownership of quality outcome from the beginning and the experience and business skills to manage work schedules. Top notch all around, we highly recommend Tree City Woodworking. Were we building or remodeling in Treasure Valley, based on the experience we now know Tree City would be at the top of our list for cabinet subcontractor.

We asked Kendall to match a picture of a country hood vent we liked. It is absolutely perfect! His expertise and quality left us with a very pleasant experience in our new home built! Tree City workers also showed excellence in installing them. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting the best cabinetry in Boise!

Tree City built custom cabinets for our kitchen remodel. We have had occasion since to look at some model homes and other remodeled kitchens and haven't seen any that compare in quality. Beautiful work, creative options, expert installation, reasonable prices, and on time! Kendall guided the design process while respecting our preferences. I would not hesitate to use them again.
