Love them! Sophie will work with you to help you figure out what YOU like and how to put everything together. She can do top-drawer expensive and cheap and chic, too. Highest quality work, these are not only architects and interior designers but also real people who know that you will need to live and fuction in the beautiful spaces they help you create. They can work within your budget and you prioritize.

Sophie and the ColePrevost Team were wonderful to work with. They are professional, flexible, and knowledgeable. They understood our style and look, and balanced that with the needs of the space. Sophie assisted us with decorating and improving our main level -- entryway, dining room, kitchen, and main living area -- by providing minor changes, furniture, and paint. Sophie's team did a lot of research into various design solutions for our exposed entryway/mudroom area from the garage. The rustic wooden doors they found are beautiful and add a lot of personality to the house. Sophie drew from our backgrounds when applying colors (golds and oranges as I am from India) to help warm the home. She was also great with using items we already had and building around them -- for example, we installed large glass doors over an opening in our master bedroom and she drew the paint color from the glass. Midway through our main level project, we tasked Sophie with redesigning the master bath vanity area. Sophie took on this additional project without complaint and redesigned the area to have increased lighting, storage, and better flow. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the work done by ColePrevost and enthusiastically recommend them to all of our friends that inquire about designers. Anyone that comes to our home comments on how beautiful and cohesive it is. We will also use them again in the future on other projects. My only piece of constructive feedback I would give about them is the invoicing and billing process. Sometimes we got invoices, but we weren't sure what they were for, or we would make a large lump sum payment and not know what it went towards. My Husband had to do a lot of analysis to figure out what we owed, when we owed it, and what our payments had paid for. However, this issue can easily be resolved with itemized invoices which break everything down.

COLEPREVOST did an absolutely incredible job decorating my apartment. I wanted a look that was modern and sleek while still warm and comfortable, and the result exceeded by expectations. They took an open, simple space, and with a few beautiful pieces and of furniture and wall color variations, created a space that feels like an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. I have gotten countless compliments on my apartment decor, and could not be happier with how it turned out.

I love ColePrevost. I hired them in 2003 to renovate a 2,200 sq ft condo in Washington, DC. I wanted a sleek, contemporary look that incorporated this Beaux Arts Building’s large, double-hung windows and trim. I was thrilled with the results, including the new, open configuration, the kitchen, lighting, and the colors. It is spectacular. I hired ColePrevost again in 2010 to transform a 450 sq ft co-op in Washington, DC, into a contemporary, Zen-like retreat. Reconfigured to provide a discrete alcove for the bed and a new kitchen, and furnished in neutral grays and creams with soft, contemporary furniture, it is a stunning and inviting sanctuary in the middle of bustling Adams Morgan. Sophie (Prevost) and Robert (Cole) are delightful to work with. If I could give them six stars, I would.

I started with an empty two bedroom condo. Sophie Prevost has worked patiently and collaboratively with me to discover what layouts, forms, colors, and textures work best for the space and for me. The result is a home that is very modern but also warm and relaxing. The design is unique and contains some fun surprises. It looks like nothing anyone else has, without being faddish. I expect to be comfortable in this home for many years to come. To get the job done, Sophie drew on her connections with excellent contractors and vendors and managed them closely. She was sensitive to my budget constraints and made sure we found the best prices.

Reworked two adjacent condos to provide a lovely one bedroom rental unit and a studio pied a terre for the owners. Cole Prevost provided the architectural drawings, the design finishes, and supervision of construction as the owners were out of town. Excellent results over a reasonable time period. Working directly with Sophie rather than other staff was the best use of time and resources although everyone was cabable and helpful. Beautiful modern aesthetic.

My Husband and I had the pleasure of working with Robert and Sophie to transform a DuPont Circle condo that I truly hated into a home that I love. Robert created an architectural design that converted a once closed in feeling condo into an open concept modern beautiful space that is welcoming and a joy to entertain in. He was also able to help us secure a fabulous General contractor and to keep within our VERY ambitious 50K budget. The entire process was a wonderful collaborative endeavor! Sophie brought an artist's eye to the finishes, colors, and interior designs and her sophisticated and modern touches brought modern elegance to our once bleak home. We are already planning phases 2 and 3 with Sophie and Robert, to renovate bathrooms, add a roof deck and more. We recommend their work and their guidance to savvy couples looking to be involved in the process of reinventing their home as well as people looking for the more traditional turnkey renovations! We are Thrilled!

We hired ColePrevost to renovate and re-do several areas in our house which needed upgrading from lower grade builder quality (we are not the original owners but the house was built in 2002.) Projects included a total bar renovation, a media center, lighting and paint upgrades, color schemes, furniture and rug purchases, and bathroom renovations to name a few. And even though ColePrevost is known for a more modern aesthetic, our home is arts and crafts, and designer Sophie Prevost was just as comfortable doing a more traditional style. Sophie listened to our concerns, needs and wishes and incorporated our input into a design that turned out fantastic! There has to be trust between owner and designer, and I never flinched with Sophie's recommendations. She possessed the perfect combination of the highest level of competency and an innate sense of artistic style and she delivered that "wow" factor in our home. Everything she did turned out top-notch. Our next project is to re-do the owner's suite, and I will hire ColePrevost to oversee that as well.

Our home has timeless beauty and comfort due to the expert design and craftsmanship of Cole-Prevost. Each day we appreciate the integrity of the design. Robert and Sophie had a unique ability to discern our taste and needs and cast this in an intelligent and architecturally pleasing form. Their synergy with the contractor was exceptional, so that their concept was beautifully achieved in the final result. It was our great pleasure to work with them - we continue to think this today, thirteen years later.
