We are first-time home builders, who needed a lot of hand holding, and Curtis was there with us every step of the way. He really got to know us and our style, and was able to translate that into our plans with ease. Incredible attention to detail mixed with his artistic side was a wonderful balance. Curtis was a pleasure to work with and we would call on him again in a heartbeat.

I am an Interior Designer (Heavenly Haus Interiors) and my husband and I decided in early 2018 that it was time to expand our unfinished attic space into 750 additional square feet of living area. Our goal was to finish out a workout/game room, a second dance room/bedroom, a full bathroom and a bar area off the game room. Though we had a general feel for how the space would look, attics pose design challenges due to uneven roof lines, multiple dormers, etc. We hired Blue C Designs to tackle the detailed layout challenges and provide us with the blueprints. We were highly satisfied with the process, the timing and the final layouts! Blue C Designs did a great job giving us the spaces we needed, while providing as much symmetry as possible to very asymmetrical attic spaces. We love our new, finished spaces and know it will add value to our home! Thank you!

If you are reading this, then you are probably in the position I was, when it came time to find an architect, for our project. I had no idea where to even begin. No one that I knew ever used one, so it was an experience that I would have to figure out on my own. Used a search engine, to produce several websites, of various architects. All of them looked fancy, and I am sure were very capable architects. But none of them had the feel of someone who would fit into our project. Found Curtis, by pure accident, and something about his approach struck a chord. So, I cold-called him (yeah, I hate filling out forms and going that route), and I suspect I caught him off-guard. Regardless, we talked briefly, and I was certain he was the right guy. We arranged to meet, and he popped by our office. Turns out my hunch was dead on. Curtis is relaxed and easy to work with, yet 100% professional. He demonstrated the ability to work on any type of project: large or small, commercial or residential, remodel or new construction. Our project had to go through several iterations, due to zoning constraints and budgetary issues. Curtis worked us through all of those issues, and the end result is pretty darn good. I am extremely pleased with what he designed for us. As the construction progressed, Curtis kept tabs on the project. When he came to check on the progress, we had several enlightening discussion on what might be called "elements of design". I learned a ton, working with Curtis. All in all, it was a great experience, and I feel lucky that I literally pulled his name out of the blue. (I know...............horrible pun, but true!) Our building is built better than any of the houses I have owned, all of which are more expensive. Part of that was his design. The other part was his guidance and advice in finding the right GC. curtis is great. He seems more interested in designing a house that is optimal for your family, than just finishing a job and getting paid. He focuses on flow, furniture placement, and sight lines. I honestly have not considered all these things. I have met with other architects who did not consider these as well. While there are architects that charge a lower sf price, he is quite reasonable. You really get the sense that he actually cares. Now the plans are done, and we can start construction. He also put me in touch with some wonderful contractors to build this house
