Dan Wangler: Design • Build • Renew

We hired Dan Wangler Builders to remodel our kitchen in 2018. We have a traditional home and wanted to open the kitchen to flow into the family room, at the same time modernizing the kitchen area. We ended up knocking out walls and re-positioning the first floor powder room. We are thrilled with the results. Dan and his team at DWB, including subcontractors, were great to work with. The team was friendly and on time--very easy to have in the house for a four month process. The project came in on budget--which was a HUGE plus as well. This was the third project Dan Wangler Builders handled for us. I look forward to working with them again.

Great company to work with. They did a kitchen remodel for us and the project was amazing from start to finish. They would clean up every night so it didn't look like a war zone everyday. Dan was on site everyday overseeing anyone working on the project and would always keep us in the loop if there were any concerns or issues that arose. I would highly recommend them!

We hired Dan Wangler Builders to remodel our kitchen in 2017. We have a small ranch style home and needed to maximum space. Wangler came up with a great kitchen design so maximize all the space. They were very professional as were all of the subcontractors working for them. They were always courteous, cleaned up after themselves to the best of their ability, and showed up when they said they would. Our kitchen turned out great and I enjoy using it every day. I would definitely use them again.

We hired Dan Wangler for our 2nd story addition and full house renovation and Dan was truly outstanding to work with. He is extremely professional and truly cares about his work – and it shows because his work is top notch. I can say without hesitation that hiring Dan to do our addition was best decision we made in the whole process. Dan and his team made each step of the way as painless as possible, and although we hit hurdles (as all projects do), Dan handle each one with sincerity and professionalism always keeping in mind our time and budget. I can’t say enough about Dan and his team, but he truly transformed our house into a wonderful place for us to raise our children. We have had the pleasure of having two Wangler projects; a total kitchen remodel in 2012 and remodel of our master bath completed this year. Our home is a 1940's colonial; both projects kept to the original room footprint, space was tight, and age revealed outdated code issues. Each project had a great designer with the result of a kitchen and a master bath that exceeded our ideas and wish lists. From the beginning the Wangler team brings hands on daily contact and feedback; they use talented contractors and their daily work crew is very attention to detail and considerate of daily clean-up during the project and simply, the nicest guys. Dan Wangler Builders whole team was wonderful to work with! They have redone several rooms in our home and completed projects within the time frame they gave us. All of the workers who were in and out of our house daily showed up on time and cleaned up after each days work. We have been very happy with all the projects they have done in our home. Dan Wangler Builders is a great builder to have work done with. Everyone from Dan to Joan are great to work with and make is a joy to talk to. Joan is very responsive and really knows her field. As a vendor you can run into different issues with sizes of appliances being spec'd wrong. I have not run into this issue with Dan Wangler Builders as they are on top of their game and really take pride in the finished product. Also the clients who have had work done before by Dan Wangler Builders always seem to be more than happy. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to remodel or build a home.

We hired Dan Wangler to build a fully custom house for us in Elmhurst, IL. We could not be happier with the results. Our house is beautiful and we receive so many complements from every guest we have over. Joan, the queen of design, did such an amazing job. Without question - the most professional and incredible addition that we have made to our home. We have lived in our home for 38 years. It is a 3 bedroom ranch with an addition put on top 22 years or so ago. With the kids gone we decided to use some ground floor space to enlarge our relatively small kitchen. We found Dan (and his sidekick, Joan) through my brother. Dan did a major remodeling for him with a big part of it being a complete kitchen overhaul. My wife saw the job and fell in love with the kitchen. We had Dan and Joan come out and gave them our ideas. They responded with an entirely different approach - converting one of the bedrooms to kitchen space. It turned out that was the best approach and I can't say enough about the two of them. Easy to work with, professional, and extremely talented. We have yet to have someone to come into our house that genuinely isn't in awe of our new kitchen! Dan handles the construction and Joan deals with the designer aspect of it. They make a great team! There is not a single thing that we would change and here we are - almost a year after they completed the job - and we still shake our heads at what an amazing job they did. They covered everything - from the smallest construction detail to the wallpaper on the walls. They got a feel for our style and then they went to work. The results were amazing. They bring both aspects to the table - the aesthetic and the technical - and they do it very well. After working with the two of them we actually consider them both friends! You almost have to see the job to appreciate the quality of it. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have a large remodeling job done. What I didn't mention is the balance of the job they did for my brother. It was incredibly well done - with an eye to quality and fine details - which you rarely see anymore. I would rate them 6 stars out of 5! True professionals!
