Ive worked with David on multiple residential projects, and he’s one of the best architects I’ve collaborated with. As an engineer, I really appreciate how clean, accurate, and buildable his plans are. He communicates clearly, responds quickly, and always designs with both the client and construction team in mind. Highly recommend David for any custom home or remodel project.

We interviewed a few architects to finish a full remodel project on our house. From the moment we met him, David was very open, incredibly friendly and personable and full of ideas. There was no pressure from David, and he took the time to walk around the house, talk about our ideas, offer his own and go over our partly finished plans. He gave us time to talk and think as we interviewed other architects. For us, the decision to use David was easy. David's price was very reasonable, especially considering his many years of experience and his expertise in his field. Communication with David was easy and he made the process low-stress for us. One thing we really appreciate about David, is that he isn't part of a large firm and you get a very personal and individualized experience. Additionally, he was open to the type of remodel that we wanted, and did not push us towards any trends or any of his own preferences. David is kind, personable, reasonable and experienced!

David Manning has been in the architecture and design process with us for a year now, from helping us decide which lot to purchase, and we are finally breaking ground on our custom home in the hill country in about 2 weeks. It has been long and difficult to create our own custom home design that fits the special location, the design requirements and budgetary constraints. David has worked diligently to create the design that really fits our needs. He has always been available for consultations and requests. I am certain that he did not expect us to be as demanding as we have been, but he has handled our process with patience, professionalism, and perseverance. I would recommend David for any custom design you might need. As the home starts to take shape, I will come back and post some photos. In summary, David has been a pleasure to work with, and if I ever require another custom build designed (God forbid), David is my guy.

We were needing a mobility accessible home designed after Hurricane Harvey destroyed our home. David consulted with us on renovation project. We wanted to keep the same footprint, but wanted to make the space more usable. David gave us lots ofm ideas and produced house plans we can use with the contractors. David suggested for how we can make the most of our footage - while also preparing for future projects above and beyond. Even though our project was not huge, we felt like we were his top priority. David is a pleasure to work with, and gives thoughtful suggestions. We are very glad we listened to him! Cost was extremely competitive. .

He is easy to work with and listened well to arrive at a design that exceeded our expectations but was consistent with our budget. Our project was simple but was treated with the professionalism and focus that I would expect if it were a major endeavor. We are hoping to move forward with implementing his design in early 2016.

These houses, both built in the 1950s, needed an experienced talent who could take the limitations of the existing layouts and update them for how families live today. He listens extremely well while bringing vision and creativity to make our ideas even better or suggest ideas we never would have thought of. He is also a genuine pleasure to work with.

David Manning was our architect for both my personal residence in 2003 and office building complex in 2008. David has a unique quality of bringing warmth, progressiveness, quality, thoughtfulness and creativity all associated with his art degree background. He has excellent perspectives and thinks outside the box. He worked well with us to come up to solutions that were cost effective to his ideas. He is truly gifted in this field endeavor. One of his most critical gifting is his personal integrity and honesty which is why I have used his talents. The biggest negative I see is that he is so humble that he sells himself short. I would proudly use him again on any projects of this size.

David Manning is the very talented architect who helped us transform our 1980s country style home into a modern minimalist home. The project included moving many walls (including a load bearing wall), creating a new kitchen and adding a media room, bathroom, large garage and loft. David listened to ever changing ideas of our vision then created well thought out plans so we could see many options. He patiently made changes and enthusiastically made suggestions based on his years of experience. David is highly collaborative and completes plans in a timely manner.
