Hiring bobbi packer designs was a great decision for me. I’ve never hired a designer before, but my family room project was too big for me to do on my own. I felt that bringing in a professional would ultimately save me time, effort and potentially money. I began my search for a designer on Houzz. Bobbi called me and I felt an instant connection with her. When Desi and Bobbi visited my home for initial meeting, their warm, attentive, listening, and fun personalities stood out. I knew they were the ones to hire. We shared plenty of laughs together, which made the entire process even more enjoyable and comfortable. One concern I had before hiring a decorator was the potential for high cost or feeling intimidated. I worry that a decorator might be too expensive or condescending, or perhaps dismissive of my ideas. However, these fears quickly disappeared. Desi and Bobbi were committed to working within my budget, and they respected my thoughts and feelings throughout the project. Their network of skilled professionals, including an outstanding painter and a knowledgeable electrician made the entire process, smooth and stress-free. Desi‘s dedication to the project was apparent from the start. She always responded to my questions quickly and made me feel heard and respected. I appreciated her thoughtful approach and truly enjoyed getting to know her during our time together. The transformation of my family room exceeded all my expectations. What was a dark space is now a bright, welcoming room that gives me a sense of peace. Looking back, I felt incredibly fortunate that Bobbi reached out after I liked one of her design’s on Houzz . I am so grateful for the beautiful and tranquil space they created in my home. One important lesson I learned is that redecorating a new room is a journey. Bobbi emphasized this at the beginning. I worked with Bobbi Packard Designs to obtain their assistance in fabric choice for my existing furnishings in my kitchen and family room. Desi came out and was so enthusiastic, warm and extremely helpful in making color and texture recommendations along with ideas for accessories such as coordinating lamps and throw rugs. It was not a large job for their design team, but I was made to feel that it was for a million dollar project with the attention I received! I couldn't have been more pleased with Desi and her patience, knowledge, kindness and professionalism. Bobbi Packer designs really helped our dream bathroom come to life! Both Bobbi and Desi went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. They were incredibly diligent in helping to keep everything at budget, and went so far as to be at the house in person whenever important work was being done by the construction crews. All of the contractors they worked with were equally as fantastic. Their tile guy was a real artist with outstanding attention to detail. And the primary contractor was very responsive to every question, follow-up and text I had. I really can't say enough good things about our experience. We love the results and will definitely go with Bobbi and Desi again when we have remodeling needs in the future.

I work at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, formerly in advancement and now human resources. Bobbi Packer Designs replaced our old cafeteria area tables and chairs, which were pretty basic and from the early 1970s, with stylish, colorful, and comfortable chairs and tables. In addition, she rehupolstered couches and chairs that were basic government-issue from that era with colorful, comfortable, and stain-resistant upholstery for the commons areas. Working with Bobbi Packer and Desi Guimon was easy! When taking on any decorating project, having the experience be 'easy' is about the best compliment for anyone. They examined the space (Condominium Lobby), listened to the thoughts of those involved, actually paid attention to the budget and came back with multiple wonderful and workable suggestions. After completing a major addition on our Highland Park home we were left with some unusual spaces that we tried to fill with furniture. It looked like a hodgepodge of new spaces and old. I doubted it could be remedied. That is when Bobbi Packer came to the resucue. Bobbi spent time looking at the space, measuring and imagining. She listened carefully to our preferences and what we hoped to achieve. That is one of Bobbi's unique talents. She kept that in mind as we worked on paint colors, textures, furniture, window treatments, accents and lighting fixtures. She kept to our discussed budget and met our deadlines. I first met Bobbi Packer 35 years ago when she was recommended by a showroom at the Mart. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my husband and I were so happy with the outcome. She is very pleasant to be with and has a great knowledge of design. We wanted to be involved and she was totally accepting of our thoughts and what was really important was her understanding of our budget and needs. We had never worked with a designer before and were thrilled with the whole process. She made it very easy. She can design all styles...isn’t stuck in just one way or just her way. I worked with Bobbi again about 6 years ago in a new home. Her sense of design is beautiful. She did custom work for me ... a cabinet and wall shelves. Very unusual yet functional. I highly recommend Bobbi for the smallest of projects to building you a new home.

Working with Bobbi Packer will end up with your loving whatever she has done. She can envision and plan the space. She will work with you,; learn what you like; shop with you; and also look for things and bring them to you. She can work with what you want to keep and/or what you want new. And when it's time she comes up with the best paint colors or wall coverings that pull everything together. She also designed some furniture pieces for us that are very special. AND, Bobbi is a lovely and delightful person to work with. We can't recommend her highly enough.
