King Contracting

I would highly recommend King contracting. During all phases of the upgrade Doug and the entire contracting team were extremely professional and communicated regularly about which phase they would be working on. The job was right on budget which was easy because his allowances were realistic with high quality materials. The most important aspect is the quality of work and the finished job is impeccable. Better than I had imagined at start.

I worked with King Contracting from September 2015 - August 2016 on a massive HUD house renovation. The total project neared 100k, much of it structural. As first time home owners my partner and I were nervous about selecting a contractor. You hear horror stories and we didn't want to be another one. I felt comfortable with selecting Doug. He was ethical, clear, and kept in communication at all times. Though I worked with many different sub contractors and project managers everything was taken care of to my satisfaction and promptly with Doug overseeing everything. The project did take a significant amount of time related to HUD inspections and bank inspections but I would choose King Contracting again and felt that I was treated fairly.

King Contracting was the General Contractor for the major renovation of our home in St. Petersburg, FL. The project started in Feb. 2015 and was completed in October. It included electrical, plumbing, interior finishes, flooring, kitchen, bathrooms (3) and some structural work. King Contracting acted professionally and honestly. Overall, we're happy with their work.

I interviewed 4 contractors to remodel a home we purchased. I chose King Contracting because of their professionalism, creative ideas, attention to detail. Though we had a couple of bumps in the road during the construction project, they were not major and certainly worked through them to end up with a beautifully completed project! We are very pleased with the final outcome. They started and finished on time. We had open communication during the project which was very important to me since we were not living in the area at the time of construction. I would recommend King and have to a neighbor which also hired them!
