We’d highly recommend Eddie Design and Remodel for any large-scale home renovation! After interviewing 5 design-build firms, we hired Eddie to do our full home renovation on a 50’s ranch-style house. The design phase was engaging, with Eddie and Dima iterating a number of times to ensure we loved our floorplan, balancing scope and cost, and ensuring the permit package moved through the city review efficiently. We ended up adding a master suite, moving and expanding the kitchen, incorporating an additional bathroom, adding a 21 ft bifold patio door, and legalizing an existing unpermitted addition. While no complex remodel is issue-free, our overall construction experience was really smooth, primarily due to Eddie, Shay, and Sarmad’s concierge approach and continuous communication (in-person every 2 weeks or more often, with near-daily texts). They laid out a schedule and a prioritized list of finish material decisions we needed to make (with lots of support from Petra, one of the interior designers they team with), based both on need dates as well as expected lead times from recent experience. All of their trades were professional and efficient. These two aspects meant there were no down-times over the entire 7.5 months of construction, enabling the project completing ~2 months AHEAD of schedule! We couldn’t be happier with our renewed home and thank Eddie Design and Remodel for making it all happen!

My wife and I highly recommend Eddie Design and Remodeling for any home remodel project, no matter how small or how large. We hired the firm to rebuild our Willow Glen home. Our house is beautiful, and we could not be more pleased with the end result. This was an extensive remodel, reconstructing 90% of our home. From the beginning Eddie Stolik and Shay Ben were open and communicative and were very eager to make our vision for our home a reality. Their team is superb. This includes their architects, designers, and all contractors. Before any work was done, we met several times with Eddie, Shay and the designated architect. The architect prepared several designs, and we chose one which fit our budget and took our home from 1,600 to 2,100 square feet, and from 3 bedrooms/1.5 baths to 5 bedrooms/3.5 baths, plus an office and full garage. Our house needed to be completely demolished and rebuilt from the foundation up. New electrical and new plumbing were installed throughout. The new build incorporated solar paneling, drought resistant landscaping, tankless water heater, state of the art heating and air-conditioning, internet and cable set-up, and all of the design features that we desired. All city/building inspections passed with no issues whatsoever. The assigned designer worked very closely with us on all the appliances, bathroom fixtures, tile for all bathrooms and fireplaces, and all necessary design choices. Throughout, Eddie and Shay were completely available and responsive to our needs. They even scheduled on-site project updates every two weeks, through the entire project. We would hire them again and we recommend them without reservation.

Have just had our first meeting with Eddie. He described his service and we were impressed with the scope of his company. He presented in detail the items in his estimate of the remodel of our kitchen. Good communication and quick and timely responses to our questions a concerns.

5 stars is not enough to describe my experience with Eddie and his team. We needed work on our kitchen and bathrooms. From the consultation, to the demo, to the remodel it was a great experience. They kept in constant communication and took care of any problems I had. I also loved the convience of there payment portal. Highly reccomend.

After a costly and disappointing experience with another Bay Area contractor, I was fortunate to find ED&R (415-565-9371 , edremodel.com) to complete the renovation of my Russian Hill condo. ED&R's work was excellent and timely, despite COVID delays & restrictions, and as the work progressed we built the trust and respect essential to a successful business relationship. Sarmad was my project manager. He helped choose and configure cabinetry and other finish goods, kept me well-informed of progress, and when the inevitable problems arose he solved them. There were no bad surprises. ED&R converted a property with decades of "deferred maintenance" into a beautiful apartment I was able to quickly lease for my asking rent.
