Sarah and her team exceeded our expectations from start to finish. They listened carefully to our goals and worked hard to ensure they were met. We had some additional considerations to manage for accessibility and aging in place as well as creating special places for our kids, and all the professionals at Ellis Architects met the challenges and worked well with our contractor to make the most of every opportunity. The result is a home that's beautiful, efficient, and maximizes the potential of each space. We love how it looks and how it feels.

Sarah and her company did an excellent job regarding the design of our backyard patio structure and dining pavilion. There were many challenges that she faced during the design process: different elevations, existing old 1920's house quirks that had to be worked around, and a particularly opinionated couple (my wife and I) that wanted to keep true to the Tudor design of our house. She incorporated all of these elements and came up with a great plan for us, different and better than anything that we had dreamed up. I was particularly impressed with her emphasis on how the space would flow and communicate with other areas in the house. She has a great attitude, was a pleasure to work with, rose to the challenge, and did a great job for us.

Sarah Ellis and her team are true professonals. They took a worn out, closed off mid-century ranch and turned it into a modern marvel. We appreciated Sarah's expertise, of course. But her real gift is her ability to integrate architecture and cutting edge interior design while keeping her clients calm and focused. This project was long, expensive and emotional. Sarah and her team were with us every step of the way. We couldn't have achieved the results we did without them. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We hired Ellis Architects to provide full service architectual work for a pool house/guest house/garage. The work was excellent and we have had such positive feedback on the design of the structure. In addition, the plans were well prepared and professional and the contractor had no problems executing them. Sarah is great to work with and worked well with our pool designer and contractors on design, slope and elevation issues.
