We worked with Envy Landscape on a landscaping design and build project from dirt-up and have been very satisfied and impressed with the whole process from initial consultation, design revisions, to construction and timely completion. We cannot say enough amazing things about Petr, Jan, and the entire team at Envy Landscape Design, Inc! The entire process exceeded our expectations. Petr did an amazing job listening to our ideas and put this into a wonderful vision! We bought a new construction so he helped us design the front, back, and courtyard of our new home. His ability to design the landscaping with both our design wishes and budget were exceptional. He offered suggestions and also listed to our ideas which came together to exactly what we were looking for. While on our property all of the workers were respectful of our home. They met all deadlines on time while at the same time making sure the job was done with the highest quality. We made small changes throughout the process which they accepted with ease. Jan was meticulous at our home making sure everything in the design was met with construction. With any hiccups (of course this is always expected) they always made sure to make it right. At the end of the project they listened to our ideas and added a couple additions to make the project even better. Some of the plants died (not at fault of Envy) and they replaced them for us. We cannot be happier with our paradise yard which we enjoy daily with our fire pit, grill, and outdoor green space where our 2 young boys play. Petr, Honza and the whole crew at Envy Landscape are the absolute best in every regard. We were fortunate enough to buy a new home in 2021 and needed to do a full landscape project which was very intimidating ... from design all the way through to execution. To say we are happy with Petr, Honza and Envy Landscape would be an understatement. We knew some of the bigger elements we were hoping to have with our landscaping and the general style/vibe but Petr took our general inspiration and turned it into the backyard and outdoor space of our dreams. Envy Landscape Design transformed our small yard into an inviting modern retreat that gets compliments from everyone who visits. Petr was easy to work with and really listened to how we wanted to use the space. He then came up with an amazing design that fit an outdoor dining area, a built-in grill, a water feature with sitting area, a fire pit with seating area, a small herb garden and two storage areas into our small yard. One of the storage areas was his suggestion and it was a perfect use of the space, freeing up more room in our garage while adding an attractive wood element to the yard. I have never seen a more reliable, hardworking team. They started the construction right on schedule and stayed on schedule. The attention to detail from improving the drainage to piecing together natural stone to make a magnificent 5 x 8 ft water wall is so impressive. The pergola is a masterpiece drawing one towards the cozy sitting area. The final invoice matched up well with the estimate with the only difference being upgrades in the materials and additional labor associated with those choices that we asked for and are very happy with. The whole yard turned out better than we could have imagined! Petr’s sense of design is inspired. The space looks bigger than when we started. This outdoor living area has been perfect for both entertaining and just relaxing with our dog. With the glow of the perfect landscape lighting and the soothing sounds of water, we have our own spot for a mini-vacation whenever we want. I have been recommending Envy Landscape Design to all my friends and neighbors!

We chose Envy to design and rebuild our entire backyard, and we are extremely happy that we picked Petr and his team. They are an incredibly skilled group and it was amazing to watch the project come together. We didn't have a complete vision for what we wanted when we first met Petr, just something slightly more modern, with a pool, some places for the kids to play, and a better overall use of the space than the design that existed when we bought the house. Petr was able to take those limited directions and produce a beautiful plan, with two pergolas, a fire-it, a modern kitchen, garden, kids play space (with a chalkboard), and a number of fruit trees and bushes. He worked with the pool company and did all the legwork to get the entire project up and running. Petr and his team were here every day at 7 a.m. and worked very hard to tear down the existing yard and rebuild it, from irrigation and gas lines all the way up to the final finished product. They honored the contract pricing and timelines; there were no delays or issues attributable to Envy. The attention to detail and finishing touches on the decking, pergolas, and landscaping were truly exquisite. I have nothing but positive things to say about Envy, Petr, Yan, and the team. Highly professional, very skilled, and a pleasure to work with. The finished yard is breathtaking.

Petr & Jan were great to work with from design through completion. We leaned heavily on Petr for the design as other than "nice" we really didn't know what we wanted. He was patient and listed to us, had us tour some of his other projects and with our feedback came up with his design. Our yard came out better than imagined and look forward to use it for years to come. We interviewed 2 other landscape firms and Envy was competitively priced with the others but Petr's design was a step above, which is why we ultimately went with them. At the time of bidding he was already booked out a few months plus Covid then further delayed some of our materials but in the end it was well worth the wait and were happy. Scope of work involved front and back yard demo, walls, gas line, bbq island, decks, fire pit, artificial turf, electrical, LED lighting, fences, gates, driveway, sidewalks, irrigation & plantings.

We had the most wonderful experience with Envy. We have done a couple large house projects so we know what these things can be like. These guys were great to work with. We had them replace and expand a large deck off the back of our house. We mostly had the idea of what we wanted to do but Petr was very helpful in fleshing out the design. Jan and the guys did great work on the craftsmanship. As construction usually goes, we ran into an issue where the handrail we wanted wasn’t feasible. We had to rework things mid-project and the guys made the change smooth and hassle free! They even went the extra mile to compensate for outside delays caused by the Covid pandemic. Over all, the deck looks amazing, the price was well worth it and we couldn’t be happier!

Envy Landscape recently finished a complete remodel of our backyard and front yard and I wanted to express my thanks for a job well done. It took my wife and I several weeks to figure out exactly what we wanted and Petr was there to answer our questions and help us with design concepts. We engaged several contractors some of which simply wanted to take our money and/or others who lacked creativity. Petr understood the vision that my wife had and made design recommendations consistent with our wishes. He never rushed and was very patient with us. Once the project started, the Envy crew was here every day, on time, and with the same workers. My family was very comfortable with Hanz, Ricky and Joel. They were clean, friendly and were incredibly hard workers. They used all of the precision type equipment needed for this type of job and I could see progress in their work at the end of every day. My wife and I consistently felt like we were their only customers with the amount of care they put into our project. Envy landscape met the timeline they established from the beginning and have been back a couple of times to check on irrigation, lighting or simply to ensure we are happy with their work. I have already recommended Envy Landscape to all of my co-workers and would recommend them for any size job.

I have NEVER hired someone for a project like this without a personal referral, but when I saw what Petr could do, I could not resist meeting with him His design is flawless, priced very competitively, finished the job ahead of schedule, showed up on time each day and I could NOT Be happier with the result! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. He has transformed my Carmel Valley yard into a zen hotel oasis! You will NOT be dissapointed!

We had an amazing experience working with Envy Design on the backyard in our new construction home. We started with nothing but dirt and now have an unbelievable space that came in on time and on budget. We met with seven different companies and Petr was the only one who brought back a design that incorporated his unique aesthetic and also included every element and feature we asked for. If you are lucky enough to contract with this company for your project, one of the things you will like the most is that your designer is also the owner of the company, who is also the foreman of the construction crew and is on site every day to consult and collaborate with. I've heard horror stories from friends who worked with larger companies where they had separate relationships with a salesman, a designer, a project manager and a foreman and had significant problems trying to communicate issues and fix problems. In our case, everything started and stopped with Petr. If his crew completed a day's work and something didn't look right or was in the wrong place, he was there to consult with and he was extremely accommodating when it came to making a change or a fix. I also heard from several people that whatever your budget is, you should plan on spending 20% more and taking a third longer than the deadline you agreed on. That was not the case with Envy Design. Once we agreed on a design, the materials and a price he delivered exactly what the contract called for with no hidden costs or contingency fees. If we asked for an additional feature, he simply quoted a cost and added changes as we needed them. His crew showed up on the first day and was there every day until it finished. On a three month long project, we were only off our completion time by two weeks and all of the delays were related to the pool company and subs that were out of Envy's control. Petr and Honza were also a great help in working with and managing the sub contractors. They recommended the company who built the pool and when one of their subs did a really poor job on the tile for our spa due to not having the proper equipment, Petr stepped in and negotiated with the pool Project Manager to have it completely redone at no cost to us. We got an amazing finished product at a reasonable price and had a very smooth and problem free experience thanks to the high quality, professional work and trusted experience of Envy Design. I would highly recommend their company to anyone and I would do your best to get on their schedule now because I suspect their services will only increase in demand if they continue to produce works of art like our backyard. :)

We love what Envy did for our yard! Petr and Honza and their crew were very professional and all expectations were met. Timeliness - The project was finished in the timeframe initially provided. The crew worked during times that were acceptable and did not mess around. I never saw the crew on personal calls, sitting around, or diddle-daddling. Cleanliness - They never left a mess at the end of the day, like garbage, food, drinks. They gathered their tools and kept our yard organized as it could be while under construction. Design - We love the design! Petr was willing to give a variety of options and brought creativity to the plan. Budget - there were no add-on costs (other than items that we added on to the design). I don't like surprise increases in projects and Envy kept within the agreed upon budget. I highly recommend Envy Landscape! We get so many compliments on our backyard and front yard.

When we met Petr, we knew right away that we wanted to work with him. When he came back a week later with the design, that sealed the deal. Our backyard was fully landscaped. We now have this amazing zen, relaxing and beautiful yard that we can enjoy! We had a beautiful red wood fence built around our back fence to give us more privacy from a busy hiking trail. Many trees, bushes, citrus and flowers were planted. The lighting looks amazing!! Petr re-designed my backyard with drought tolerant plants and planters. The project involved completely redoing my watering system and hauling out lots of tired older plants. We are very satisfied with the landscape work that Peter Cihalik and his partner did to our yard. We have received the highest compliments from our friends, stating that our yard looks so lush and beautiful. A few years ago, Peter also installed marble tiles in our home and redesigned our bathroom which turned out beautifully. Peter and his partner conduct themselves in a very professional manner, completing the work in a timely manner. I can never say enough about their work ethic. Needless to say, I will hire them again for any work I might need to be done in our home and our rental property.

This was our third time working with Envy Landscape Design. For this last job, we wanted to remove our front lawn and put in a low-water solution, including some hardscape. They worked with us to determine what we were looking for, and provided some very good sketches of the job (which turned out to be VERY accurate). They also provided some wonderful ideas to improve the project (such as a water feature and a bridge). Very detail oriented, and very much on time and on budget. 10/10 would use again.

After admiring a neighbor's new driveway and entry several years ago, we met Petr & Honza, owners of Envy Landscape Design, Inc., who had done the work. Since then, they have completed three projects for us. The first would have been a plain stucco wall without Petr's eye as an architect. We now have a beautiful wall that includes wooden slats mixed in with the stucco. The design fits in with our pre-existing entry and a new wooden gate to our side yard, which Petr designed. Our wall has received rave reviews from our neighbors. The second project was an outdoor kitchen, which has become our favorite place to hang out--with friends or not, and while cooking on the grill or not. It is unique, with wonderful natural materials, designed by Petr. Our most recent project was a new driveway, entry to our home and front yard. We now have curb appeal, with a fountain and colorful, drought-tolerant trees and plants, which are watered by a drip irrigation system. The materials used make for a fresh and modern look, while repeating some of the materials from our backyard, giving continuity from front to back. It is so beautiful that I call their work "art by the yard." Petr & Honza are trustworthy, dependable and hard working. We enjoyed their humor, too, and miss seeing them.
