My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I found MID on Houzz and I'm so glad I did. I needed a consult on paint colors and flooring choices for my condo apt. MID was willing to help me. During a consult, Esther delivered recommendations for both. I'm very excited. In addition, Esther provided advice on what not to do, gave insights on lightbulb "temperature" choices and wall switch/socket updates, and which paint finishes to use where. I especially appreciated Esther taking into consideration my physical constraints (vision & mobility) in developing her recommendations for me.

I especially appreciate your mention of the care taken to consider your vision and mobility needs. My goal is always to provide recommendations that are not only beautiful, but also practical and supportive of how my clients live every day. I admire your willingness to take on this exciting refresh, and I'm thrilled that our consultation helped bring greater clarity and confidence to your decisions. Thank you again for the opportunity to be part of your journey!

Working with Esther was a pleasure. She immediately understood what I was looking for, even when I didn’t. She has the ability to use her outstanding eye not just for beautiful design but for my style and taste. The end result is exactly what I wanted: a warm and welcoming space that reflects me. In addition, Esther is meticulously organized and respectful of time and budget. She helped make difficult decisions so much easier, making me feel decisive and confident. I am very proud to welcome friends and family to my home. Esther truly listens. She will bring your personal style to life, and she has my highest recommendation.

We had a great experience working with Esther in decorating our home. She catered to our design and aesthetic preferences, brought fresh ideas and elements to enhance each space, and was willing to work with furniture/decor that I had already picked out. Our style was transitional; Esther knew just what to add to make our home feel like a model home, but cozy and livable.

Esther is an absolute design visionary! We hired her to help us reimagine a very outdated floor plan for a home we recently purchased. She was incredibly detail-oriented, precise, and efficient – she quickly developed six unique design concepts and blueprints that perfectly aligned with our needs and preferences. Her expertise and creativity are truly unparalleled. She listened intently to our vision, asked insightful questions, and translated our ideas into functional and beautiful designs. Thanks to Esther's quick turnaround and detailed plans, our contractor was able to bring our dream home to life seamlessly. I cannot recommend Esther highly enough! If you're looking for an experienced, creative, and meticulous interior designer who truly cares about her clients, look no further. You won't be disappointed!

Esther has been a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. Her professionalism, design sense, and organizational skills are top notch. She has an extensive network of furniture, fabric, and lighting contacts and has made the design process for my new build as seamless as it could be. Even though the house is "done", I'm still working with Esther on several smaller projects to put the finishing touches on and have recommended her to other friends that need design help. You won't be disappointed!

We were so excited to be building our dream home, but the process was rather overwhelming so we are very thankful to have found Mudan Interior Design. It was amazing working with Esther and leverage her design expertise to help us achieve our goals. She was able to help us fine tune our design vision and bring it to life! Esther would relate to us the Pros and Cons of any key decisions that we have to make. We never felt pressured but rather supported by her professionalism. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to build and furnish a custom home.

Esther helped us design the common areas of our new home. We loved working with her and are super happy with her design and selection of furniture! She not only saved us tons of time and energy, but also educated us on things we would have not known if we were doing this on our own (as first time home owners). We really appreciated that she was transparent with her process, super organized, detail oriented and great at communication. She was also very flexible when we had new needs. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with interior design!

Thankfully, Esther's support of our extensively-expanded and renovated brownstone continued well past the formal end of our originally contracted arrangements. Unsurprisingly, following construction and after a period of time when my family and I were able to begin enjoying the many changes made to our living space, there was a host of minor tweaks and improvements that we wanted to make - issues and opportunities that Esther helped us navigate and resolve, and all done with the grace, responsiveness and professionalism that she had earlier demonstrated, at the beginning of our renovation. We have leveraged, many times over, Esther's original commitment to our project, availing of her vast knowledge of a wide variety of structural and stylistic aspects. Esther's never-wavering support of this very stressful and extended renovation was fundamental to its ultimate success -- we remain very grateful for the services provided by her and her firm.

It has been such a pleasure working with you and Fiona! I really appreciate your support and enjoyed our collaboration. I am happy that you and your family are now enjoying the fruit of your labor throughout the past few years! I am always here to support you guys no matter how big or small the issues are. Never hesitate to reach out!
